Remind me what crime he committed while at Dallas? He got into it with teammates probably because Dallas has far from the locker-room we have...Hell our Star QB and Star CB got into an actual fight last year....to that I say "so the fug what" Hardy didn't even fight anyone and he didn't do that poo here. He did poo like speeding like an idiot and all that does come with Hardy being Hardy.

I'll take that easily for a poo contract and 10 sacks. Hardy's "trouble" is well worth the 10 sacks for the price....that's the point.

Robbery.

Specifically, he took 13.5 million out of the Cowboys bank account and only gave back six sacks, with the better part of them being early in the year.

When it came down to crunch time in the Cowboys quest for the playoffs, Hardy was invisible.  The fact the he was slacking off in meetings and practice made that disappearance all the more intolerable.

Some teams will put up with lazy efforts on practice days if they know you can turn it on at game time.  Hardy didn't.

That sort of thing will get you out of the league even faster than anything that happens in the courts or the locker room.

Nah it happens Moss packed it in when he was with the Raiders and then set records with the Patriots. He's not Haynesworth who is literally worthless no matter where he goes.

Hardy was the best player on that defense and it wasn't them that failed it was not having Romo and the entire team was invisible after Romo got hurt again so they all packed it in. Out of the league my ass the entire nation saw Dez Bryant argue with Norman after an interception and he could have saved a touchdown..Hardy didn't do anything that egregious and they sure aren't kicking Bryant to the curb for an unforgivable lazy act.

Anyway I don't care 1 bit what Hardy does for/with the Cowboys we know what he can do on this team and that was before KK was in unstoppable form. Also don't care what he took from the Cowboys before that he took from the Panthers and literally owes us a year anyway.

Cj, Hardy, KK, Ealy on passing downs...yea that's not Gettleman who's saying no to that.

So basically, whatever's gone wrong is everybody's fault but his.

I'm sure he has plenty of people telling him that. It's probably a big reason why his life is screwed up.

Not sure how you made that leap no one is talking about whose at fault for what.

That was also before he had a domestic violence incident on his record.

That plus the other factors says there's pretty much no chance.

I think that if Hardy had his issue with another team there might be a slight chance we would sign him if he had stayed clean since.  Since Hardy had it with us, he is not coming back Jr or no JR.  Jr could take a two year sabbatical to Katmandu and Hardy still wouldn't be a panther.

I do think that without the domestic violence incident, there is a slight chance he would still be a Panther, but only slight.

Meaning?

Not hot on the idea. Their opinions of Coples cooled.

They no longer really wanted him, especially at the money he was asking.

(That's the implications of "Panthers were lukewarm on him", not anything I know or have any other evidence for.)

I have no clue why, after all the guys that have passed through our doors only to leave without a contract. Why does Coples intrigue me so damm much? So much so, that I was planning on trying to pay attention to what kind of year he has for the Rams. Of course that is all predicated on where, and how much, he plays.

How the fug did this guy get under my skin?

    • I've seen enough tape review to see that we run crossers...we have dudes in the middle of the field. I have to think that this is a harder area for someone of Bryce's stature to hit. You have to see directly over the center of the line and is probably where the most interceptions happen (he has thrown a LOT of his picks by not seeing a dude in the middle of the field).
    • I’m pretty sure we did end up getting the first in that drive, but I don’t remember. It was obviously a catch the ball didn’t move
    • While I don't think NFL games are fully rigged, it's certainly closer to a scripted outcome than we all think. The NFL by their own admission in court is not a fair and balanced sporting event. It is a managed entertainment product, a "spectacle" as they've put it, that now has sports betting as a huge financial pillar of their business model. It's ridicuously naive to still think the NFL isn't using referees to manage the games towards certain outcomes, using "replays in the booth" and overturning calls, choosing to overlook penalties at critical moments and calling questionable and sometimes phantom game changing penalties at other critical junctures of games. The NFL has always done this going as far back as the '60s, and they were investigated by the FBI in the '70s which found a large number of ownership groups had ties to the mob. So when the overwhelming majority of the moneyline bets were on the Panthers vs the Saints last week, and suddenly we see some strange and ticky tack penalties we've rarely seen called on the Panthers all year, I just know there's more going on behind the scenes. And suddenly next week, the Panthers will probably be nudged to a win, to keep the NFC South race interesting, as I see the Bucs are the favorite as of now and most moneyline bets will trend towards the Bucs until during the game when the Bucs are leading heading into the 4th quarter, and the Panthers are nudged to a win. At least, that's what the NFL and Vegas probably want to happen.
