Hey guys,

Now that the PSL owners are starting to cash in, I'm beginning to shop for game tickets to raffle for the ALZ charity for this year. You guys were some of my most active participants last year, so I thought I'd get an idea of what games you might want to see in the drawing. I know many of you guys have season tickets, but I'd be interested to get everyone's thoughts on which games you think people would be most likely to buy a raffle ticket for.

We're likely going to do 2 games, 2 tickets each, in two separate drawings. I usually like to do a late division game, but Tampa is away week 17, and Atlanta is Christmas eve, which might deter some out of towners. With that being said, the Thursday night against the Saints will likely be one of the games.

Thanks for the input.

I think we will steam roll the saints and the falcons both times. TB should be pretty decent this year so my vote is for MNF. Chiefs, Cardinals, and Vikings may also be close games.

That's what I was trying to figure out. I usually prefer the division games myself, but also know that, to the casual fan, Tampa is not usually a very hot ticket. But it is Monday night at least. Definitely on my radar.

None jump out as a must see one over the other.  But the rematch with the Cardinals at home should be insane.

I agree, it's not the strongest home schedule this year. It's definitely missing a big Green Bay(fan base), Washington (just due to the leftover fans from pre-panthers), Pittsburgh (fan base), or Seattle (mortal enemies) style game that everyone can't miss.

Cards should be big. Would have been even bigger if it would have been closer, or we had lost.

I say the Vikings. They aren't here often and this might be the last time anyone gets to see AP at BoA.

We do play them at home again next year due to the divisional rotation so we'll likely get at least two more chances to see him at home.

    • The preference for smallish NTs was bizarre to me. I mean, you're already looking for a bit of a unicorn with a NT anyway trying to find a guy who can consistently hold his ground against double teams. Now you want to find a smaller, quicker guy who can do it? Yeah, good luck with that...
    • Yep. I had 2 shoulder surgeries (same shoulder) in college. What you say is true because the joint is a ball-in-socket joint and not like a knee, which is a hinge joint.  Another reason (this from my orthopedic surgeon) it is more difficult to overcome is because people want and need to walk, so they are constantly rehabbing the knee.  You can protect the shoulder and avoid using it.  And you can play with a banged up shoulder because it does not reduce your game speed much.  As long as I kept my arm in tight (close to my rib cage) I was fine--but when I extended my arm, I felt vulnerable and it was weaker, it seemed. A shoulder issue was common with LBs.  I don't recall seeing a LB in the dressing room without a surgical scar on is shoulder.
    • F- pick. Taking a hurt RB is the dumbest thing a team starved for tallent could have done in the 2nd. As for planning for 2025, they could have just waited since he brought nothing to 2024. That entire argument that they were playing the long game is like such a copout, just admit it was busted from every angle. They bet poorly and lost. It was a dumb pick and a complete waste of a chance to pick up a meaningful player this team still desperately needs. Picks like that is why this team is picking top 10 ever y year.
