Running to check out Pete prisco's twitter to watch him cry is like one of the first things I did after the pick. I had to look him up obviously because I'm certainly not following, which cost me time, but is what worth it.

Eh, draft grades are generally given out by addressing needs, not necessarily BPA.

I don't agree that the Butler pick is irrelevant to need anyways. Much like the Thompson pick last year, it was made with the decision in mind of adding utility that we sorely needed on the DL schematically, and the usual jargon surrounding fresh bodies. I guess there's also a bit of future contingency in there as well.

 

I still don't have any strong feelings on the pick one way or another, but I don't agree that he's just icing who was taken for no other reason than "because we felt like it" or value, as prisco seems convinced of.

2014: Uh oh, Prissy is back to being critical and just doesn't see eye-to-eye with DG's evaluation of talent.

Panthers select: Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Florida State They had to get a receiver, but I don't like this pick. He is second-round talent in my book. Why not Marqise Lee?

2015:  Executive of the Year gets a bad Prissyco grade for totally ignoring major "needs".

Panthers select: Shaq Green-Thompson, OLB, Washington I don't get this pick at all. They have a major need on the offensive line. Where does Thompson play?
