We can still be Top 5-7, but that's all I'd be willing to go until the CBs (or DL) show it on the field. Good chance our DL isn't going to be able to take a single game off this year, and will need to be absolute monsters consistently to help out the rookies.

Thats just it.......they are all monsters.

High praise from Willie. I think #1 is a stretch with our unproven back end but our front 7 is unreal.

Not a stretch at all when you look at the absolute cheese d*ck slate of QBs on tap.

Is anyone else worried about our DE depth more than the CBs? With the zone scheme we play I think we can hide some of the deficiencies of our secondary considering we have Coleman coming back and all signs point to Boston being at least a sufficient starter at the other safety spot. With having 2 of the best coverage LBs in the league playing every down, I think we have enough talent to be alright ASSUMING we can get to the QB. Ealy definitely balled out during the Super Bowl but he has yet to prove it over the course of a season. And after Johnson and Ealy, we really don't have anyone that I would trust to come in and play full-time in the case of injuries.

    • I'm salty every time I see someones mid picks become stars while we throw first and second rounders over and over and they all stink outside of Tet (who still has a lot to prove, imo)
    • There is a contingent that is total Bryce but they weathervane with the wind. When the good Bryce wind blows about once or twice a month we hear a lot from them. But they are always pro Bryce, they just don’t pipe up too much when he sucks. I can’t speak for them, as far as what they are looking at.    In a second contingent, the collective mind is made up. He has had had basically three years worth of starts that might include a top tier outing or two, a few second tier outings, offset by about the same number of bottom tier outings which actually may have the edge there.  The rest of his stuff is third tier and that is going to be the bulk of his starts. We want to move on. And we aren’t getting off of that hill until he puts us off of it. He has not.    There is a third contingent that has no conviction and definitely weather vanes. Bryce is good. Bryce isn’t good. Depending on the latest game. They will buy into 7 on 7 success so that should tell you something.
    • Nacua is really fuging good. He might be a better version of Cooper Kupp.
