Is there a Huddle app in our future?

The only problem I have with the mobile site is that sometimes it jumps and makes me click something I didn't mean to. (So no I'm not stalking you if you see that I've clicked on your name!!)

Oh and sometimes the icons at the top of the page are chinese

The huddle mobile site has come a long way and provides a uniform experience to everyone. The app wouldn't do tweets, instagram, youtube, gifs, etc. People had a hard time talking about what they could not see.

There is another big improvement coming to the mobile site around the time the season begins. Faster, more intuitive, etc.

In short, been working my butt off trying to get this place in top shape for the season. Stay tuned.

It has come a long way. Looking forward to the improvements.

The only nominal complaint I have is that when I set it on my home screen using Opera, the icon is a generic looking royal blue square with a "C" in the middle. With Chrome it always renders as the real Huddle logo, and pretty sure it's the same with Firefox.

FWIW, I use a workaround to fix this by screen shotting the logo, editing and cropping the "CH" logo and changing the icon with an icon changer.

Funny the mundane things we think about when killing time.

Someone made a comment when this was last discussed that, at least on apple, you can just go to the mobile site, click the square at the bottom like you are going to share, and save the link to your home screen on your phone. It creates a blue and black "CH" icon on your home screen that takes you directly to the huddle. So easy and essentially does what an app would.

Pretty much.

Jeremy...is there any progress on this?  With the upgraded wi fi in the stadium an app would be nice.  Also helpful for some of us who like to check in at work.

Yeah, lp, just set whatever Huddle page you want to your home screen. It's almost just like the app, but without all the technical issues. I do the same thing for nfl.com, as their app is basically shitty.

I believe that's the advertisements loading that makes it do this. They seem to take forever to load, thus keeping the page scrolling which causes hitting the wrong link/radio button. If you wait for the page to load, that should lessen this problem, but it can be a pain waiting. Don't know if @Jeremy Igo has the knowhow or inclination to fix this, or if it's even possible. Perhaps a change in the format, or the location, of the advertisements might help. IDK.

That's one of the reasons I use Opera. It just loads faster and more efficiently for me. Plus I have more control over which ads to allow which makes for a better experience, but still allows Jeremy to make some money.
