Justice League trailer

I said it in the BvS thread. DC can't cast worth a sh!t. Marvel seems to cast perfectly every time. Also, DC wants to be darker for some reason, which would be fine if they could write a decent story and cast a movie much better. imo

Except for Aquaman.

Personally, I'm looking forward to them. I thought the Justice League short was promising. I'm not a hardcore comic fans, I just want something entertaining.  BvS was not the worst movie ever.  I kind of like the quipy Batman.

So I'm looking forward to it! But some will call me a pleb...;)

Cumberpatch is one of the best actors in Hollywood at the moment. Who cares what he looks like? He's got a resounding voice and fantastic acting skills.

Cumberbatch is a fine actor...  I just don't care for him personally.  He over-enunciates words and is just... idk, weird.

This movie looks kind of meh... like DC is just trying to hop on Marvel's money train.  BvS was fine as long as you didn't pay attention to the plot, the visuals were excellent, but the movie just wasn't good.  I agree, Affleck did a better job with Batman than I expected.

That scene in this trailer with Bruce Wayne and Barry Allen was a virtual copy of the Tony Stark/Peter Parker scene from Civil War.

Cumberpatch might be odd to some people out there but he's outstanding. His interpretation of Sherlock Holmes was easily one of the best in awhile.

It's not Marvel's money train, it's Disney's. Same thing with DC. WB had over 20 years to make a JL movie but only recently started to make CBMs outside Batman and Superman because: 1) they're out of cash cows 2) they want some of Disney's money. Frankly, who cares? Because of Disney, we wouldn't be seeing WB finally utilizing their DC properties (outside animated movies).

As for BvS, the plot had holes but its plot is no different than any other CBM. Not one is Oscar-worthy. The major issues the movie had were in the editing and pacing department. I personally thought it was better than what some think in here.

It's funny, fans complained BvS was too dark and ambitious, but the moment Batman cracks a joke and has a more light-hearted approach, DC is copying Marvel. This is exactly why I prefer DC keep their tone dark.

Personal preference like I said...  I don't care for Cumberbatch... everyone's entitled to their opinion.

Dr Strange looks dumb to me via the trailers, but so did GotG and it was fantastic so I'm sure I'll see it.

Agree that it doesn't really matter WHY they're making new movies...  it's good for the fans.  However, don't complain too much about people complaining... that's always going to happen.  If you like the movie, who cares what others think...

Wait.. you didn't like him as Khan in the new Star Trek reboot? You are definitely the first person I know that hasn't.

The one movie that was worth watching of all the old shitfest ones from that generation was Wrath, mainly due to Montleban's reprise character. So, I was not expecting to be impressed at all. Personally, I thought he was amazing playing that role and was kind of shocked when I did.

I get it, though, he's not an actor you like... just wanted to see if that role also qualifies as one you didn't care for.

He certainly wasn't who I would've chosen for that role, but he did ok.  I just don't like his style. Can't really put my finger on it exactly, almost like he over acts?  idk
