Cowboys loss = Bad news for Carolina

Going to be tougher to knock that team off after they just lost a heart breaker in the last seconds of last nights game.

However, the Cowboys did little to impress me last night. I think they are better than the Panthers at this point, but not that much better. A win is a real possibility.

Dallas is another team with a stellar tight end. We always fare badly against those.

Gonzalez was fantastic yesterday. I really didn't know if he still had it in him, but he looks like he could go for five more years.

And Witten, he's going to have a field day against us unless we can put Davis on him every play.

As an aside, our TEs did really well yesterday. It's been a loooong time since they've been that active in the passing game.

Very bad news. I was thinking the exact same thing as I checked the Giants/Cowboys score this morning.

ST: Cowboys will get at least one score off of this alone against our dreadful ST and will get great field position consistently.

Offense: Without pressure Romo will pick us apart. Witten will be running fairly free. Our D has to execute blitzes better. We'll have to stack the box to stop their run as well.

Defense: Expect a lot of blitzing from the Cowgurls. Constant pressure on Delhomme is bad news.

Then there is the pressure of the Cowgurls getting a win in their new stadium on Monday night...

    • Add Tmac's grandma to the card and it's a no brainer better addition to the NFL
    • What did you want, a bunch of fights? Fights don’t win games, goals do. As far as physicality goes the Canes had 35 hits to the Panthers 32. The Canes lost in the third when the Panthers scored 5 goals on only 14 SOG. Canes were rarely on offense with only 3 SOG in the period. Canes lost due to defensive breakdowns, mistakes and a poorly defended net. Played in a panic, not their game.
    • Honestly I’d rather see Rozeboom next to an alpha/stud LB. I’m totally out on Wallace. He shouldn’t be a starter even if Luke Kuechly reincarnated appears on the team next year. We can do better.
