i get a kick out of people saying the broncos showed everyone the gameplan to defeat the Panthers. yeah, the gameplan is having an athletic freak like Miller be able to free rush 1v1 because the rest of the DL is solid and the secondary is practically airtight. and even still it took two fumbles within our own redzone for them to win.

yeah i know right

how to shut down the panthers offense: have almost literally no weaknesses anywhere on your defense.

I havn't yet watched the game a second time.. but I seem to remember the entire team mood change after Philly went down. It seems all of our good mogo/swag kind of went poof in that moment.

+injure their starting Pro Bowl RB+have their Pro Bowl FB fumble on our side of the field+hex their possession WR into 3 more drops than he's had all year+play them without their freak WR who is out for the year+capitalize on a typical drop from their other WR, parlay into critical INT+cheap shot their other WR+have the refs in back pocket=success

Yeah, not a clue.

Madden isn't real, kid.

Ok Coach Madden I know your  trying to relive you childhood glory days, have you ever tried coaching an actual  team that would need you god like knowledge of football.

So what happens when Williams win the RT position this season, will you start playing Madden.

If Williams wins the position, I'll be fine with it.

Based on what we're hearing, I wouldn't bet on it just yet, though.

    • In May of 2026, it looks like a challenging schedule...and it probably is.  I rarely listen to the "strength of schedule" conversations that light up social media this time of year. Each year teams improve and decline. I think there's chunks of the year we need to take care of business and the week 5 bye is not desired.  I do think if we don't hit the bye week at 3-1, it's going to be a major uphill battle given the schedule in front of us. This season falls on three people, regardless of schedule strength: Canales, Bryce, Evero.  Canales: Finally can truly coach all aspects of the team and not focus with gameday prep for OC duties anymore. He drives the bus and needs to get these guys in position to win each week. There's no way vets come in and put it on the line every week to watch our QB sh!t the bed (See: SF game last year). Bryce: Despite everyone's obsession with thinking Bryce is a guaranteed extension, I think this year will truly be his "prove it" year. If he comes out the way he has the past three years, I really don't see how vets and coaches can continue to put him under center long-term. He might play out that fifth year as the starter, but I think next offseason his long-term replacement is found. I also think there's no excuses with the weapons and commitment we've made on offense to insulate him with every possible weapon.  Evero: Best personnel he's had since he's been here...no excuses. Figure out how to blitz effectively. Figure out how to use CBs whose strengths are press/man. Figure out how to utilize a talented front-7 to get the hell of the field. Outside of FS and maybe....maybe ILB, there are few weaknesses on this unit.
    • Canales can never get his teams ready in the first week of the season so far. Hope that changes or Ben Johnson is going to take his azz to school.
