Will we scale back to 3 TE's this year?

With Olsen's back spasms, and a potential concern that they could come up again during the season, they may go with 4 instead of risking it with just 3. Having said that, I don't know who the 3rd would be much less who the 4th would be. But it seems likely they roll with 4 this year. OL might take the hit and be back at 9 again this year.

With that mindset, that 3rd or 4th guy may not currently be on the roster.

I think they are. The last preseason game gave me an outside thought at Mucas because of his hands...but blocking is always important to this team. Has his improved enough to jump the other guys? Who knows? This preseason game will tell us a lot.

The blocking element is what makes me believe that the outside option is a possibility. From what I recall, even Dickson wasn't rated well as a blocker so we're not in a good position if Olsen has to miss any meaningful playing time.

Could see this going different directions, tbh.

It's a bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see if it pays off for them.

Damn Ben Stiller is hilarious. I don't like Jason Batemen but he was good in that movie.
