Didn't want to come here today... but did... Didn't see it on the front page... but Shula...

I thought Funchess should have been more involved.  He's deadly on slant routes.

In general with Shula, we could have used more slants/drags/screens against a monstrous pass rush.

I also thought he should have utilized Stewart more.  Stewart only had 15 carries which isn't super egregious but not enough in my opinion.

I just want Cam to survive not only this season, but for longevity's sake.  We have a big physical back so use him.

I still feel like Shula makes bad decisions at critical points in the game, and doesn't make good enough adjustments on the fly...

Specifically, the tipped pick play that Cam had...

It's the 4th quarter, at the beginning of a drive. You're in the lead. There's a lot of time left on the clock. You just got 6 yards on a run on first and 10. Your QB is starting to get more and more pressure as the game goes on. 2nd and 4 and you run an 8 yard in route?

Granted, it was a heck of a play by the Denver D. But we put them into position to make that play by not sticking to the run at that point.

I get it, we have All World targets and a QB that is elite. But, it is okay to run the ball in this situation.

Also, NOBODY could get open all game, apparently.

I think we only targeted Ginn and Brown a combined 4-5 pass plays.

We did absolutely nothing different on offense, and actually got worse, after halftime. That is what cost us the game, and Shula is at least partially to blame. IDGAF hate me or whatever, but it is true.

I think this is BS. He was not the main reason we lost. So everytime theres a tip ball that gets picked off your going to find someway to justify that Shula shouldn't call a pass play or when a run play gets stuff your going to complain he should have called pass. The fact is their defense was really good and attacked Cam really good and that trickled down to the rest of the offense.

I really don't understand the shula blame, did a good job bottling up miller and even with the penalties killing drives still manage to put us in position to win. He clearly learned from last game, you don't want to get into 3rd and longs with this team nor pass happy. KB was what we needed in the superbowl someone who would beat man coverage along with olsen, unfortunately the rest of the wr core struggled.

Hell, I thought we should have quick snapped the ball and Cam drive forward for an easy 1st on a QB sneak.

So why didn't Cam call that then? Everybody seems to be forgetting that he has the ability to do that whenever he wants, so if you're gonna bash Shula, you have to bash Cam too.

thought the exact same thing. gaining 5-6 yards on every carry. should have kept ramming it down their throat.

The 3rd and 1 with Fozzy in the backfield - Cam bootlegged and was stopped short - was an absolute head-scratcher. No one in that stadium thought that Fozzy would get the ball in that situation. I think that was the opening drive of the 2nd half too, so that was a killer.

this pissed me off so much. last year we pulled off the bootleg to great effect by giving Cam a passing option on that bootleg, forcing the defenders to drop into coverage or to pursue the QB. and considering it was 3rd & 1, why the fug didnt we just run it?

Oh, come on, man... the OC doesn't send down multiple plays on 4th and 1.  He and you and I all know what the defensive formation on those plays is going to be.

Been saying it since he arrived, he's not good.  If, after all these games,  you can't see it..well shame on you.  The wtf/headscratch list is long and keeps growing every play this fool calls and the players in which he calls them for.  Put a bucket of water in the OC chair,  strap some headphones on it and paint a Florida tan.  We will get better results, promise.

I'm pretty sure Cam can just sneak it if he wants to. He's done it before. From what I understand, he has at least two options on every play anyway. FTR, I didn't like the call either.
