Expect a Loss Monday Night

Everyone who has frequented this board for any lengthened amount of time knows that I love this team with all that I am. But, I've come to the conclusion that something just isn't right with this team.

I hope they come out and surprise me Monday night, but I'm not holding my breath. On top of that, it's the Dallas Cowboys. If the last two games would've been switched and we were playing Atlanta on MNF instead, I would definitely think we could come out with a win. But, it's the Dallas Cowboys, it's MNF, national audience - You know what that means.

I'm guessing we get Mike Carey or Hocculi... One of the good company men as the head official. And thus, I expect similar results as past games. Obvious no calls, and blatant should've been no calls in the Cowgirls' favor. It's happened every time...

From Pepper's blocked FG that was ruled that he didn't touch it, to the Pass Interference calls on Drew Carter and Steve Smith, to any other one you can name. When we have played them in a Nationally Televised game that wasn't a playoff game, we have gotten screwed. BIG TIME.

And b/c of that, I expect to lose despite our efforts or improvements as a team this week. The schedule didn't work in our favor, and the officiating definitely won't this week. I know, officials supposedly don't win or lose games, but against Dallas, the calls that were or weren't made did win or lose the games.

Like I said, I hope our guys surprise me this week, but I don't expect it to be drastic enough to beat Dallas and their traveling crew of officials.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
