The game is on the line, you need to score either a field goal or td to secure a win, it is first and goal within three yeards of a touchdown. Call a passing play on first down.

 

 

I seriously just straight up don't understand this god awful play calling. It was like this all game! On a side not, McDermott made excellent half time adjustments, and truly coached a great game, can't help it that his starting corner is Worley.

Apart from that play when evans was the only wr on the field on a 3rd and long and they pretty much single covered him that play burnt my piss

They didn't TD was supposed to be underneath, he whiffed.

I will never understand calling a pass play on that first and goal play.  We were running down their throats on that drive. Why not give the runners at least one shot??

That sweep to the left was picking up 8 yards at a time.

I can understand the element of surprise on passing on 1st HOWEVER simce our toss sweeps were so effective to that point one more and we score.

We outsmart AND shoot ourselves in the foot better than anyone.

We have shot ourselves in the foot so many times this season that the foot is just a bloody stump at this point.

I am totally convinced that there is NO logic behind Shulas play calling.  He just pulls a number out of a hat and phones it in.
