What’s wrong with the Carolina Panthers?

I think aside from injuries and lack of takent in certain areas, the team is simply deflated. I don't think the guys effort is there like last year.

They are probably tired of playing the other team plus the refs. They see the NFL enforcing their narrative in the Superbowl then allowing Cam to be smashed in the head with no repercussions. And maybe they just don't think the effort is worth it if they know they are just going to be screwed over. poo I probably would too.

I still believe there is a great team here. But it's covered under a bunch of sht right now. And Rivera needs get his head out of his ass and learn when and when not to call timeouts.

Aside from the super bowl fiasco and Cam being head hunted, theyre not on the same page. Players are frustrated, coaches seemingly don't care. The league is making it their business for the team, especially cocky Cam, to not have fun and play their style of football. Chemistry is off.

Then you get into the football stuff. Their problems are deeper than no pash rushers, rookie corners and a shaky line.

Ultimately it comes down to turnovers on offense.  Now what is the cause of the huge increase in that this year, is the real question.

And most likely there isn't one easy answer or one person to point fingers at, much to the dismay of message board reactionaries.

Tell me, is the All-pro subsection as reactionary as the regular board?  I would hope not...

    • 5 straight completions in the 4th quarter to get into the red zone and then score a stand up rushing TD and celly in one of the best defenses faces to bring the score within 1 possession against the super bowl champs is "stunned" to you?
    • yes, if you read what I said - that was due to his record breaking 245 yard 4th quarter performance in garbage time when the Seahawks were already celebrating. If Bryce puts up big numbers in the 4th quarter, people like you are quick to call it garbage time stats but seem to get selective when other QB's do it because it doesn't fit your narrative.  also, I'm logical enough to admit that Drake is a great QB and his performance had a lot to do with his protection, play calling, and other aspects. The game does not fall completely on the QB. Just like how the Panthers were still in the game vs Seattle until Horn's penalty changed that. It is a team sport, so many factors, players, refs, coaches are involved and it only takes one thing to change the game. the obsession with Bryce is just nauseating at this point and if you pay attention on here, it's the same 10 users quoting and pieing each other. it's super weird and everywhere else you go, opinions on Bryce are trending upwards. the way the season ended, the vibe at the stadium, the performance, should have everyone excited about this next season. Idk, maybe I just look at life and my entertainment outlets differently than others.
