I'd rather see him explode on the zebras on the sidelines, but I'll take anything I can get. He's a good, thoughtful guy though. You gotta respect him.

I don't think we know what he has said on the field to refs. Whatever happens is on the sidelines with all the players around him. He doesn't have the reputation of being a players' coach for nothing.

In my opinion, part of coaching is to hold the refs to task at the time of the "infraction."  It's all a part of the chess game. Rivera could stand to be more vocal in my estimation. 

From what I can see he is quite vocal to the refs. Just because he isn't jumping up and down acting like a crazy man doesn't mean he isnt being vocal. He just isn't hurting the team acting out of control.

If you listened to his press conference he has made this an issue with the league and Goodell all season. He has been way out in front all along. He has talked to Goodell on multiple occasions. He only made his involvement  public because of Cam's comments. But he prefers to follow the rules and do things quietly rather than air his grievances in public. Just because he doesn't make you aware of what he is doing doesn't mean he isnt doing it.
