I've been a fan of the team for 20+ years. Never seen so much hand wringing over a rookie defender making a simple mistake while showing potential we've been begging for to the point we've eviscerated guys like Brian Burns countless times for low effort. Especially the year after the team fielded the worst defense in league history. It's comical all around. Spin it however you like. As far as Canales. While I like him and have hope for him and have been vocal about the things he does well. Let's keep it completely 100 here. 31 other coaches last year didn't make it a point to sit their starters out as much as possible and then ended up getting their doors blown off in their first two games. Dave Canales has not yet earned the benefit of the doubt anymore than anyone else with this franchise until they finally post a winning record. And once again everything goes back to so and so allegedly hating Bryce Young. Because apparently no other QB for this franchise has ever been scrutinized before Bryce Young came along. Ridiculous. -
