If you trade Hubbard are you content with Etienne as our most skilled RB? That IMO not a good idea for a run first team. Huge gamble. -
To be fair Etienne didn't get a whole lot of opportunities. The miniscule body of work (20 carries), however, did produce 94 yards and a 4.7 average. I guess we can conclude that he's decent depth. Could be running on the bubble though as special teams was a little sketchy. -

That is a huge gamble. You cannot be 100% certain that you are going to get a solid running back to replace Hubbard. You can think we can get a replacement in the draft you however you would be going into the season with a 30+ YO RB, a running back who has had 2 ACL tears in the same leg and a 2nd yr RB with limited success and a rookie you hope can replace Hubbard. You are taking a serious gamble for a run first offense. Hubbard won't be traded. It makes zero sense.
