Sideline heaters...

Bud Grant says "ha".

I loved when the Vikings  honored him while they were playing outdoors due to building the new stadium, he went out there in a shirt with no jacket and it was friggin cold that day. For those who were fans when he coached it was so apropos.

I'm from West Virginia and lived for a few years in Ohio. My wife grew up South Carolina and lived in Georgia for a while.

I can be outside in short sleeves while she's bundled up and still cold.

Same thing here. Grew up in PA while wife is from NC. She is bundled up and always cold like right now. LOL. Sitting right next to the fireplace

I grew up in NC, but spent a significant portion of my teenage years on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Anything under 45 degrees and I'm complaining lol.

The wife is in a jacket if the temperature drops below 65 (not exaggerating).

I'm still in short sleeves and comfortable at sub 38.

She thinks I'm crazy.

    • I wonder if they'd consider trading Rasheed Walker to a team that needs tackle help but missed out in the draft?
    • LOL. This is such a Panthers fan take.  Anyone who falls to us must suck because some other team didn't take them before.  We got lucky with Lemon, Thieneman, and Freeling all falling to us (honestly any of the three is a A+) but the WR and S positions are much deeper than the LT position in this draft.  We got the LT w/ the most upside at 19.  Mauigoa played RT in college and some think he is a guard in the nfl.  Spano played RT in college and some think he is a guard in the NFL due to short arms.  Blake Miller played RT in college and is not as good as Freeling.  Proctor is a true LT but his ability to handle quick edge's worries me (see Icky).  Freeling is a true LT and a gifted pass protector.  Many think he has a very high ceiling and will benefit from not having to start right away.  This is how you build a franchise.
    • After watching Cam get killed for years behind a bad Oline and having to watch the 2021 and 2023 Olines I will never complain about this team putting resources into that spot.  We got a true LT who could really push Rasheed Walker for the day 1 job. Go back and watch Iceky's draft profile from 2022 and all the talk was Ickey would be an all-pro guard in a zone blocking scheme, but he could play LT in a gap power run scheme. That's why Ickey looked really good when Wilks took over and we just started running gap run plays and just mauled people up front but under Canales we've been more of a zone running team. Ickey can survive at LT with his pass blocking but his true strength will always be his ability to just move guys in the run game and that's a skill set that's better used at guard.  Take another OT later on day 3 to learn from Moton to take over RT in a couple of years and let Walker and Freeling battle it out for the day 1 LT job then next offseason trade one of Hunt of Lewis and let Ickey move inside to guard.
