You give Kemba a A but lists Damian Lillard as a miss. You included players that were drafted in the 2nd round as players Charlotte missed (every team in the 1st round missed)

You would have really drafted the Greek freak with the 2nd pick at that time?

Didn't you have Vonleh as your avatar?

I'm going to start the NFL List

Tom Brady

Randy Moss

Richard Sherman

Aaron Rodgers

Etc.

Kemba was our best pick in the Bobcats/Hornets era. It is well known we suck at drafting BSPN makes fun of us a lot on NBA talk. Heck, even last year with drafting Frank over Winslow was questionable. It's still early for frank though. We have missed on a lot of picks. But we are competitive. Nail FA and a draft, we will be ok. Also, whatever happened to that poster "Thinkaboutit"

The winslow pick never made sense for the hornets. Charlotte signed MKG to a extension and traded for Nic. Winslow is a good defender but has a questionable jumpshot just like MKG.

Yeah good point, I'm just saying there were better players than Frank at that time. I do still think Frank will make a solid player.

Before they traded for Nic, I thought Devin Booker was going to be pick. After the trade It was the worst kept secret that the Hornets wanted Frank.

Do you think Frank is having a hard time adjusting to new three point line?  I can't figure it out.  He's been pretty atrocious from three outside of a couple games.  In college, you basically assumed it was going in when he put it up.  Now, well, it's the opposite.  At least he's funny.

I'm all for pointing our the front offices' short comings.. they need to be held in check and accountable - but when you cross over into the ridiculousness - you lose the credibility and people just wave you off as a cry baby and our FO's problems get swept under the rug..

I think i have been leading the "trade MKG wagon" but Listing MKG as an F is silly.. Zeller has become a much better player than I thought he would be.. PJ netted us Courtney Lee - without him, we dont make the playoffs.. Frank is still a question mark in my book - but from game 5 alone against the Heat in the playoffs last year at least gives him a C..

    • I would say that he's pulling things out of his ass to get people to visit his site.
    • Yep. I was hoping for and calling for a day three guy. But I didn’t research the position to say if we should or should‘t have jumped at a particular guy at a particular spot.    And everything I read said it was a poor draft for RBs depth wise. I guess when Seattle takes a backup RB in the 1st, that kind of backs that up.    I definitely think we should keep 4 running backs and if King can play well enough then keep him too.    I believe I heard Canales say we are a running team (talking about drafting a WR he will be needing to block as well as catch). Well if we are gonna be a running team by identity we don’t need to stock the WR room to overflowing. If one room has to sacrifice, it should not be the RB room given our circumstances.
    • If there's a pattern I'm definitely picking up from Dan and company is a philosophy of making trades where we try not to sacrifice the number of draft picks we have by day's end. In other words, we're not giving up three picks for one, or giving up a future pick to make a pick today. And even if we give up something at the start, we make trades later to make up for that initial loss. Here's how it stacked up for 2026: How we started: 19, 51, 83, 119, 158, 159, 200 How we ended: 19, 49, 83, 129, 144, 151, 227 (no future picks sacrificed) Ultimately, we moved up two spots in the second to ensure we got someone we coveted, gave up a few spots for our fourth round pick, but then had better picks in the 5th (and got really good value out of them), and had a worse 7th rounder which isn't that big of a loss anyways.  At this point, we can question who they draft, but they're pretty good maneuvering across the draft board.
