"Cam isn't good at the short, quick throws"

Side Note: One of the reasons I liked the idea of Frank Reich as a head coach is that I'd love to see Newton in a modified version of the old K-Gun offense the Bills ran.

No indication that any such changes are happening this offseason though, soooo...

All the announcers talked about in the 2nd quarter was Big Ben Big Ben. Its like they took that article of how we need to use him like Pitts did Big Ben and just keep mentioning it. And it's mainly true. Pitts changed their offense to ben releasing the ball faster and they added speed to their receivers. Panthers got two slower receivers running 10 yard routes lol

Typical. You left out key word "anticipate" and put blame on everyone but Cam. I forgot, Cam has no weaknesses and is too good to improve. Next you can tell me how great he moves in the pocket and his bad footwork is his teammates fault.

Let me help you out here then.

You can't "anticipate" a receiver open, if...

Now get this...

Watch closely now...

THE RECEIVER ALWAYS HAS A DEFENDER IN HIS HIP POCKET AND RARELY HAS THE ABILITY TO GET THE FUG OPEN.

Reich worked under McCoy for 3 years at SD.

But Reich won't come here as a coordinator (as you probably already know), only as a HC.

So how about, since Rivera isn't going to get fired, we go halfway and get McCoy as an OC?

I am shocked an auburn fan is taking cams side in this

Indeed.

Always giving a good kid the benefit of the doubt instead of mocking his lifestyle and manner of dress is a more mature attitude which, I understand, would be shocking to someone like you.

I don't really think they drafted the type of receiver that beats defenders by a step.

They drafted guys with a big catch radius who could physically outmuscle defenders and take the ball.

It's a different kind of throw.

Aaron Rodgers literally trains in the offseason running sideways on a treadmill throwing footballs from weird positions to improve his accuracy.

Cam spends his knocking up strippers, trashing rented mansions, and raiding the women's section at belks.

What?

I wouldn't object.

Except our receivers are not out muscling anyone.

Lol kid? Cams a grown ass man.

When you have the worst year or your career in your sixth season it's reasonable for people to question how much time you spend in strip clubs.

Hes an NFL quarterback not a member of the early 2000 trailblazers. There are different requirements and expectations.

    • There is a Grand Canyon-sized chasm between your opinion and the opinions of most former player hockey guys who do this for a living.
    • I can only imagine the **** eating grins on the committee right now. "Oh, Bama didn't deserve it? Oh, Miami didn't deserve it? Suck it, haters!" lol
    • To say that, is gaslighting, because it isn’t true. I mean, maybe one or two people do that but it isn’t the predominant behavior. Even Frank has given him credit. I think particularly the Rams game. A couple of glowing posts.   I know I have. Gotta be honest about it because if you aren’t it undermines what else you say.  But the degree of how far I go with credit, in terms of it being a projection of future performance? Not very far. Acknowledge it, but require more of it. There is a lot of bad play to offset.    I tried to remain passive while the last 9 games (post ankle injury) played out. It is just really hard when the lows won’t go away. I failed. As high as a couple of those highs were, there isn’t enough.    I know it is premature to just say I want to move on, made my decision after 6 of those games ended up pretty much really good or not good enough, but I have had enough of being patient and letting him show the reality either way.  So in my view, he Could still validate himself to a decent degree if he smokes the last three starts. But also in my view I don’t expect to see it. Maybe one more high quality start, would be my expectation. So yes he could still somehow justify having the job next year. If that happened I still wouldn’t have much faith given the last three years and all that has transpired. Again, there is a lot of bad play to offset.
