Daryl Worley And James Bradberry Going At It On Twitter

It's nice to see our rookie corners gel on the field. Their chemistry together the past few games has been fantastic, and their play just proves it.

Now, off the field, they're gelling as well.

Take this recent twitter exchange, for example:

Daryl Worley begins by getting all sentimental over this season. It then escalates from there:

I think these two corners are going to be a fantastic pair in the NFL. They got a bright future together, and our secondary as a whole.

Gettleman confused the hell out of me with 3 CB picks, and I was worried early...but hot damn it's nice to have those two to grow up in our defense.

*we won't mention Sanchez.

Sanchez may turn out to be a contibuter yet.  I'll give him a pass on the practice squad for a while.  If he can secure a spot on special teams that's a win in my book.

Agreed. Sanchez was coming out very raw. He goes for the ball too much, and that does hinder coverage and fundamentals.

I think a few years of learning the ropes will get him somewhere. He's got a lot of potential.

If the worst Dave does is get 3 starters out of each draft I think I can live with that.  Anything after that is gravey.

Reminds me of a poor man's rookie Josh Norman.

He'll take a while to develop into something nice.

Love your enthusiasm...I'm not as confident so I'll ride yours for now.

    • Btw... only Mitch fugging Marner has a better +/- than Key 🔑!!! And, Mitchy needed 5 more games and almost 100 more shifts to get there.
    • I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.
    • Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
