The Titans have more losses than us.

Tennessee is not a good team this year. Kerry Collins is ancient and the Titans fell into the same trap that we did by not looking to upgrade with an old-ass, mediocre quarterback. That and their defense doesn't even compare to the defense with Schwartz last season.

Lemme guess..

They shouldve throw millions of dollars at "all-world" QB michael vick..

THEN, and then alone, could they achieve greatness..

How did superstar do today anyways?

I don't blame them as much for not addressing the issue since Young only lost his mind last season. They only had one offseason where they neglected the poor quarterback situation unlike us who have had several.

That said, they could have pulled the trigger on a Cutler or a Cassel and chose not to. They could have traded up for Sanchez and chose not to.

They might miss some guy named Haynesworth as well.

Haynesworth = Kemo

Delhomme = Collins

We have a double trouble, they have a smash and dash.

we have no wins, they have no wins

they were 12-4 last season, we were 12-4 last season.

kinda freaky. anyways, im just saying, they are quality program too, so everyone needs to calm down and look around the NFL. Bills started 5-0 last season and they imploded, same thing can happen to any undefeated team right now and vikings stated 0-2 last season and also didnt have a quarterback (granted they had one of the sickess D-Lines in football, but I digress) and they made the playoffs. Who knows maybe delhomme might make a deal with the devil and get good.

If we win tomorrow we are in a lot better shape than the Titans. If we lose then obviously we are in the same boat. I really think that this game tomorrow could be one of the most important non-playoff games in Fox's career here at Carolina. He needs this to restore order and attempt to get fans back on his side. Otherwise we are an EXTREMELY long shot for the playoffs and he is probably looking for another job this coming offseason.

    • Bryce and Dave will determine how many games this team wins next year. It’s not on the WRs. The RBs. LBs. This is about 2 things: 1. Can Bryce continue to come up big in the few key downs that decide most games?  2. Can Canales evolve his play calling to counter punch like the big boys do. Half time adjustments.  teams that score 30+ points on the regular win more games than not. That’s on Bryce and Dave. The offense is top 10 at every position group, save for TE and QB. A baller TE is gravy but not crucial when the receivers are dudes.  The defense is the defense. It’ll be better this season, hopefully by a large margin, but Dave/Bryce is really where it’s at.
    • Normally I'd wholeheartedly agree with this. But I feel like teams figured out this offense after the Raiders game. Bryce was so inept the first 2 games that we couldn't really even run the offense. Dalton's first game showed what we had. But after that game, coverages got a lot tighter and windows were smaller. When Bryce came back in, his ability to extend plays made a big difference. It's really difficult to stop a QB that can beat/escape 1on1 tacklers. It puts a lot of pressure on the defense when you blitz. And he was completing throws in tight coverage with anticipation. Point being Bryce wasn't throwing to wide open receivers that were schemed open by the offense. Occasionally yes. But not often.
    • With the additions we've made to our roster combined with the state of the division and the conference as a whole there is no excuse for this team not to make a legitimate push for 8-9 wins. Anything less is honestly inexcusable. There will be no more free passes for being a doormat in this iteration of the league where even mediocre teams are competing for playoff spots.
