Jim Caldwell is a fine man, and I hope he does well at Indy. But I was so glad when he got fired from the Wake Forest job. Thats when Wake hired Jim Grobe and started having success. Caldwell was not a good coach at the College level. Maybe he will have better success at the pro level.

Touche, ha ha! If it makes you feel better I came close to being wrong once back in 1997. But thats when I was young and stupid. You should always listen to Gman when he speaks. He is all knowing and only speaks the truth! So whenever you make a football prediction always ask yourself: What did Gman predict? If you do that, then not much can go wrong.

No, I cant be a cowboys fan. Since I have actually stepped foot in the city of Dallas that automatically disqualifies me from being one. I chose to be a panther fan not just because Im from Charlotte but because our weak minded fanbase could use my knowledge since they dont know much about football. I've watched a couple of the Colts games and at least twice on 3rd and long the commentator has said something along the lines of, "This is the kind of situation the Colts want to be more aggressive with this year." Both times their D got off the field. Compare that to our (continued) non-success on 3rd and 6+.

Meeks is on the sidelines because he's a Fox-type guy. Not because he's a genius Defensive mind. Simple as that.

Well first of all, that was Dungy's defense when Meeks was there, so that pretty much negates the whole premise of this idiotic thread. Not to mention the fact that Meeks has probably called more blitzes in 2 games with the Panthers than he did all year with the Colts.

Somebody already nailed the problem with the Panthers defense though...if you can't get some decent pressure with the front 4, blitzes are usually not gonna work very well. That's football 101 people.
