Bills are out of OC options.. all of their top targets have turned them down, probably because they do not have a QB.

I've thought we should offer Shula to them for a 6th round pick

Don't think he's reached out to Norv Turner yet.

Though if the attempt to hire Greg Olson is any indication, it sounds like McDermott wants to go back to his Philly roots and run a West Coast Offense.

Can't imagine why he wouldn't want to run a system like he saw here.

After playing against it every year he might think it is difficult to beat. Plus in Buffalo you have a great running attack to survive in December. Last year we had one of the best

McDermott spent most (actually all, I think) of his pre-Carolina career watching offenses that were run by Andy Reid.

It wouldn't really be a big shock if he prefers that system.

True. Then again I wonder if his dislike for Reid after being thrown under the bus would sour his feelings for all thing Reid. He hasn't publically called out Reid but I can't believe he felt good about being the sacrificial lamb

Probably not, but would he allow a personal dislike to affect his coaching choices?

He's human, but that'd seem like a "cutting off your nose to spite your face" move to me.
