Monday Night Snacks.

I thought I would switch the subject up for today. It feels good to have a monday night game tonight so when we win, the whole country can see us crush the cowboys.

Back to the point on this thread. What are your typical snacks for football games, specially monday night football or better yet how do you plan to watch it tonight? I thought I would be in charlotte today but I pushed it back to next week, so tonight I may be lurking around greensboro to find a bar with great drink specials and good food, plus I'm off today. :D

Kiosko next to Looneys has bud light draft, dos exis draft, and dos exis dark draft for a dollar on Mondays. The food is great and they have nice new flat panels and wifi in the bar. Not a huge football crowd (mexican cuisine) but watching it out and getting great food and drink specials is what you requested.

myself, I grilled three boston butts this weekend and the leftovers are all pulled and sitting in a tray with oink, moo, cocka-doodle-doo sauce ready to clog my arteries with a few cold ones later on.

Tonight I will be watching from home, enjoying some frosty Michelobs and some quick-n-easy fried ravioli to start and some Chicken parmigiana for the meal. The chicken has been marinating all weekend, the sauce is done, so all I have to do is grill the meat and boil some ziti...And drink beer of course...

Is this place in Greensboro?

100 inch LCD projector in the garage with Miller HomeDraft mini kegs from the neighbor and spicy sausage dip (amongst other things). Spicy sausage dip is da momb! Try it:

--1 pack of Neese's Spicy Sausage

--2 cans of Rotel Tomatoes

--1 block of creme cheese

Brown sausage in frying pan. Add creme cheese and Rotel in crock pot and cook on low until dip is heated through. It's the hit, boys and girls

Three things I hate about living in Atlanta:

1) Proximity to Falcons fans

2) Nearest Cook Out is hundreds of miles away

3) Neese's Country Sausage is nowhere to be found

^^^ Maybe try Natty Green's in downtown G'boro... they have great food and a microbrewery

Natty's is neat but kinda crowded. depends wht you are looking for. Grey's next door is also nice. There is a new place behind village tavern called refs. Have not been there but there really aren't many sports bars in Greensboro.

I think I know where you speak of. It sounds like this might be the old Hugo's building.

    • First, am I wrong? I looked back over all his posts here and I didn't see anything positive other than Shough. Second, pretty sure if you had read the post I was responding to, you would have seen CRA made poo personal as well . You just choose to address me instead of him. Not sure why?????
    • I wanted XL but I felt he should have been a 2nd rounder but I understand the logic trading up just to get the option. A safety net for your gamble.    Certainly disappointed with his receivers development but i like his down field blocking and I imagine that's what's keeping him on the field.
    • Pretty sure it is a given Young lacks typical QB size and strength and he is here simply because his other attributes more than make up for it. My point is not to indicate anyone "settled" for him but rather to remind people that there have been plenty of big, strong QB's that have not lived up to expectations. Jamis Winston, Anthony Richardson, Trey Lance, JaMarcus Russel are a few examples. They all have the physical attributes coveted by teams and yet none have had sustained success in the NFL. And yes, there are QBs that do have both but there aren't many and some of the ones still playing were failures with their early teams. Saying Young is a bust simply based upon his size (and I do think it is as simple as that for a few guys around here) is unfair to both him and the team.
