Per ESPNFC

Utd. may actually bring Ibra back. Reports are that he is progressing ahead of schedule and if his progression continues to trend up Utd. may sign him to a new one year deal.

Didn't Ibra tore his Achilles?  That takes a year to heal and two years to be completely normal.  Do not see him recovering in 4 months.

Knee injury, point still stands that it takes longer than 4 months but the reports are that if he's healing ahead of schedule and Mou believes the team could use more "firepower" come January; he will be offered a one year deal.

Ibra is still currently rehabbing at Utd. facilities.

Reports are Mourinho contacted Monaco to sign another Chelsea target, DM Bokayoko.  If reports are true, Conte will lose his poo.  Manchester United will snatch Chelsea #1 and #2 target.

This is disappointing.

Not cause I don't like screwing with Chelsea but because Bokayoko is mediocre at best. He just seems so one-dimensional. I honestly don't think he influenced the game in the attacking third.

I guess we screwed ourselves though because the Spurs still insist they aren't selling Dier, no way Chelsea sells Matic to us now, and Nainngolan is staying at Roma (bummer), Fabinho is still an option but I don't know how we value him.

So glad Arsenal signed Xhaka last year...  prob be United player this summer if Arsenal did not pulled a trigger.

Some reports that Chelsea is preparing a 80m Euro bid for Morata, and Bayern is going to come in for 70m for James. If those two sales get done, we'll either see a full shift to the 4-4-2 diamond, or Mbappe will come in.

If Arsenal buys Lemar, I doubt Monaco will sell Mbappe.  If Monaco sells Mbappe, I doubt they will sell Lemar.  That's why Arsenal is rushing the bid.

It's going to get to the point where Mbappe is the only one left standing, and I don't think he's content to have poo stats because teams just key on him for 90 minutes. We'll see, but if Monaco loses too many other attackers, I think Mbappe forces his way out.

Reports Chelsea is no longer interested in Bokoyoko.  Big plus for Mbappe and Lemar.

So if Chelsea keep Matic and go get Morata and Dembele?  With Rudiger in the fold I consider that awesome to be honest.

Also, as for Mbappe he will end up at Real right?  Just feels like they'll get him eventually.

And damn the talent on that French national team is amazing.

Real just loaned out James to Bayern for 2 years worth 45M in total. Whoa! Things just got more interesting. Something tells me Madrid will go after Mbappe this summer after all.

Nice deal.  I guess they found no takers for asked £60M fee or Madrid wanted more. Is it 45M pounds or Euros? Does it have an option to buy?

    • After some of the calls last year probably won't see much of a drop off
    • https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/48344034/nfl-begin-hiring-replacement-officials-given-state-negotiations-nfl-referees-association   Honestly fug these refs and their union. Resisting changes that would actually incentivize good performance and not seniority based systems. What a bunch of donkeys. Hope the replacements straight up take their jobs and never give them back. Sick of watching refs script games with no repercussions.
    • Donovan seems like highest risk to me. Lloyd and May have already established relationships with all these kids. There’s probably guys hitting the portal that they recruited from HS. And then there’s the possibility of transferring their own guys from their current teams. They’ve also been recruiting the HS kids for like the next 5 years already. Look at the Iowa coach who hit the ground running by transferring all his guys from his D2 program. Or going across sports to Cignetti transferring all his JMU guys year one then building off that to a national title year 2. Donovan is starting from square one having been in the NBA so long and he’s already 60. So you’re potentially punting year 1 for a guy you are just hoping to be a 10 year hire while you figure out how to actually develop your next home grown 20yr guy. That’s 1/10th of the time you have him, more or less at best. The hope would be that he would find some high level assistants who have been working the college recruiting trails already, but then are you giving up his ideal staff just to get a foothold in recruiting and transfers. Think Belichick year one was bad? Imagine how much worse it would be without Steve Belichicks transfer portal pulls. Hoping Mays or Lloyd are all they’re cracked up to be.
