What the the fug are you smoking LOL when has a team ever gotten 3 of the top 15 prospects overall in the same draft .. You're saying you traded future firsts or something? IDK for those players though it could be worth it, not that the Panthers would ever do that. Just getting two dominant safties like that is a dream come true, If that happened I'd hope the Panthers would go all out on getting the best DEs possible in FA and let our defense kill all our opponents , offense is already good enough to put up enough points to beat any team, let alone adding Fournette to the equation.

Theres something wrong with first picks system. McCafrey ALWAYS drops to the 2nd. Every single draft. You can't skip him if hes there in the top of the 2nd, there's no rational argument to not draft him if he makes it past round 1.

Sure I triple dipped at RB. But if Stewart is gone by draft day just like Norman was and we suddenly have a gaping hole at RB, Why the fug not. We triple dipped at CB last year even after Gman said some bullshit about BPA and not reaching to fill a need LOL

EDIT : Probably should have taken Lattimore in round 1 if I knew McCafrey is there in round 2.

Round 1 Pick 12 (CLE): Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU (A+)

Round 5 Pick 8: Davon Godchaux, DT, LSU (A+)

Just had this draft on First-Pick.  Traded up with Houston, giving our 2nd and 3rd for the 25th.

Pretty happy with it. We get that 5 year option on both Adams and Ross.

    • Redeemed ourselves with a solid middle to end the night....
    • This is spot on, with the first 5 years of a QBs contract being so pivotal, as it should, unless you have Pat Mahomes or the reincarnation of Tom Brady, stats shows once the qb gets paid, the teams Super Bowl chances shrink significantly  what we did to get Bryce was idiotic to say the least, not because of the player(not a Bryce endorsement) but because there’s a long history of proof, making big swings at qb, are usually big misses  find the identify, build around that, and go from there. Unfortunately we don’t have one, and neither the defense nor offense side of the ball are more than good at best
    • Seems like a loaded EDGE class. though I think we don't spend a premium pick there with Scourton/Princely showing production and potential.  Concepcion at 19 is intriguing and seen ARSB comps with his shiftiness, high IQ and YAC ability. He and TMac would be a nasty 1-2 combo at stretching a defense. Brenan Thompson could be that day 2 speedy/slot guy that could boost his draft stock in Mobile.  Sam Hecht could be a later selection for C depending on how we are planning to attack that position in FA and our own previous guys. Shelton from PSU is an interesting developmental tackle that if he can get locked into an NFL strength program and rock up, could be good down the road. Speaking of PSU, Dani Dennis Sutton was a guy last year I was big on and was bummed he headed back to Happy Valley. I think he can be a helluva NFL player, and if he can show improvement in his pass rush moves, I wouldn't be mad at him in a trade-back situation.
