A team like Carolina doesn't even understand how attractive their team is to a young talented player who wants to actually WIN games.

I don't think they see the opportunity. Sometimes I think they just sit there in BofA, unaware of the stock and credibility they built up. Unaware. If you are a team that is a piece or two from going back to the SB or NFC Championship why do you need a bunch of picks? Move up!

I'm with you on this one. Who knows? Maybe  Gettleman makes a move and go get his first blue goose player.

If he pulls a Eli Manning us there at eight with a whole bunch of picks and Cam Newton on the other side of the ball sounds great, not cold, not Dallas though, but very very nice.

Depends on how aggressive we wanted to be. Our 1st and the 3rd round comp pick might be able to bump us one spot up to #7. Our 1st and 3rd could probably get us to #6. Our 1st me 2nd might get us as high as #4.

I don't think Gettleman would be willing to part with our 2nd, But if the right guy is slipping a bit, I could see us potentially dealing one of our 3rds to make sure we get him.

What about a disgruntled WR or two to top off the deal. Cleveland is rumored to be interested in Tyrod Taylor.

Dallas should give them Romo, Witten and Gregory.  UNLOAD money, injuries and trouble and switch 1 and 28 picks.  Still take another #1 most likely

Not even the Browns are dumb enough to take that deal. All three guys' careers are hanging on by a thread. Written due to age, Romo due to injuries and age, and Gregory due to absurd levels of dumbassery. And even if the Browns were that dumb, I could see Romo and/or Witten nixing the deal by retiring instead of moving to Cleveland.

Normal teams might not take the deal and Cleveland might not take the deal, but was just for discussion.

Cleveland gets their QB/TE combo and next years #1 and Gregory who has potential.  At least that is how I would sell it.

Cleveland can take a great play at 12 like Cook and probably get one of this yrs top 3 QB's at 28.  New QB who is legit, great TE, great new RB and future QB to learn behind Romo.  And another #1 next season.  Who knows

Garrett and his agent saying "come and get me!".

Just business here, because I like the player and his potential but, there isn't a single WR I wouldn't throw in that deal. We've got plenty plus Olsen. Former first plus a first.

To me KB and Funch are a toss up. Funch may be more polished at this point.

I don't blame him. I wouldn't want to go to Cleveland and I'd also not want to go where it's extremely cold. If I was as good as Garrett, and pretty much had clubs drooling over me, I'd let my demands be known as well. He didn't make a "dumb" move

Imo, a player coming out of college who hasn't proved anything in the NFL needs to keep their mouth shut and play for whoever takes them, no matter who it is.
