Free Agency Negotiation Just Started

Is it just me or is this an unusually quiet opening to free agency across the league?

I know we have made several minor deals but the league as a whole usually has the big names falling early...or at least that's what I thought.

people positing these 30 mil numbers left need to remember to subtract the rookie contracts from that number too.

I thought so to in years pass twitter and sites like that are blowing up saying this guy agreed to go here and so on.....

As of Noon Tuesday, teams can discuss numbers and even come to an agreement in principle.

Nobody can sign anything till Thursday at 4pm.

Teams are typically quiet about negotiations, especially when they think someone else might be interested in their guy.

"Sources with knowledge of the situation" (i.e. agents) are generally the ones with loose lips.

Analysts keep talking about us chasing Barry Church... while I do like the thought, I think I would rather have his counterpart, JJ Wilcox. He's faster and that boy hits hard!
