(sorry if this has already been post...I looked)

He does have a point. But I don't know if I can really buy into it. I'm absolutely disgusted at the moves this off season(or lack thereof), the play on the field, the playcalling, the coaching...hell just about everything. But to think about how much has to fall in place to make a superbowl champion I just don't know if I'm ready to completely jump ship.

And Jeff Fisher's team is still playing hard for him. It's apparent from the way the Titans are playing that Fisher still has the respect of his team. I'm not sure that same could be said for Fox.

I actually agree with him in that Fisher and Cowher and Fox and Coughlin are all the same type of coach. The dilimea is do you stick with Fox and have a Fisher type situation (still trying to get back to a Super Bowl) or fire him and see him end up winning a championship with another team like Coughlin did.

I personally think Fox is still a great coach and could be the next Couglin but that is a risk that needs to be taken. Sometimes a change just needs to happen.

F**k Gantt. He's good at giving information, but when he gives an opinion he's a total douche. He does nothing but suck off Fox and Delhomme no matter how bad they are and puts himself on this high horse while looking down on any one else who actually has a brain and recognizes when there's a problem on the team.

I agree with you about a team playing hard for a coach being important. I honestly didn't think the guys were slacking against Dallas. They just aren't playing well. They are playing sloppy football.

    • I’ve rarely ever been more sure of anything than losing out — but how can anyone say with a straight face “Bryce hasn’t improved, but Canales has and he’s masks his flaws”. You have to be so out of touch with reality to put one way above the other when discussing those two.
    • Last night was the classic example of a visiting team just holding on through the wave of emotion a home team has at the start of a big time game. Bama’s first two kickoff returns really set them back as far as playcalling and allowed OU to dictate field position. The emotion of the home crowd fed into what OU was doing at that point, and it felt like Bama would not be able to overcome that.     Once the kickoff returner was told to fair catch every kick, the game shifted, as Bama wasn’t starting each drive inside their own 15. It was then that Bama was able to make some plays, outscoring OU 34-7 the rest of the way.  I think the last 3/4 of the game proves Bama was the better team. OU was just able to ride the initial wave of emotion to a big lead, but Bama held on just enough.  However, had OU blocked the punt on Bama’s second drive and scored a TD (vice a FG on the ensuing drive), things likely would have been different.  Anyway, Roll Tide!
