my thoughts: interesting that the Falcons have hired a former-safety that only ever had two starts to be their defensive coordinator... LOL wut. (to be fair, the article is unclear whether that is total starts or only starts against the Panthers)

Pretty sure it means Manuel started two games for us in 2007. Manuel played eight seasons with 58 starts according to this.

Our last 2 defensive coordinators have zero starts and zero games played.

I don't think many of the good coaches have played a down past a small school college level.

1- You don't have to have been a good player (or a player at all) to be a good coach.

2- Lazy is fine but not if you're gonna start a thread that quickly ends up as 'never mind'.
