Hey fiz, you might actually get a reasonable response if you weren't busy slapping your nut sack against your smartphone posting years old retarded tropes rooted in racism about our QB being a lazy weed smoking immature thug.

sorry it's difficult to keep my nuts from slapping against things

I'm not devastated by the pick but I do think we would have been better served trading back a few slots and taking OJ Howard and trying to pick up Joe Mixon or Dalvin Cook in the 2nd.

I will die inside though when Shula runs McCaffrey up the gut on 2-3 yards to go (so first game of the season, first drive, 3rd down).

They both create matchup problems for the defense: ginn with his absurd speed, which the Panthers utilized both vertically and horizontally. McCaffrey with his sort of unique skill set.

This is the only comparison between the two I made.

Two different players can be utilized within the same offensive scheme to achieve similar results through different means. This is not a complicated matter.

None of the people mashing their dick fingers against the keyboard and posting 15 year old gifs bothered to read the actual post; they just started hyperventilating when they read the thread.

Including you.

I'm not even mad you dumbass. I enjoy your write ups.

You can come down off of your crucifix now.

Mccaffrey is not a deep threat

What? Why not?

modern NFL is all about exploiting matchups. He's fast as heck, and if a linebacker is manned up on him he's gone.

Conversely, Ginn was considered a deep threat even though he couldn't catch and was routinely not covered by DBs

I don't know if you're responding to the posts in here I didn't go through them, but this is what OP saying and what I've said. How are you going to replace a deep threat with a non deep threat in the offense we run. Shula changing our offense to incorporate CMC? We'll see. Definitely enough talking after last season. Make it happen, cause this is a top 10 pick

He's not fast a second heck, he has a good burst. His top speed was 20 mph last season.

I don't think Ginn is a good deep threat but his speed is on a nother level compared with CMC

I get the points Fiz is making. He's not comparing them as players so much as cogs in the offense that Shula draws up in Crayons.

Ginn was probably the most important "threat" on the offense last year due to his speed. The defense had to account for him on any given play because there was the 50% chance that he might catch a ball that was thrown deep to him. I think Fiz is arguing that we're going to run a different, yet still gimmicky offense around CMC as the new threat based on his strengths.

And while Cam has strengths, he also has weaknesses, and pinpoint accuracy and touch are weaknesses with Cam.

I agree, I think Howard would have been a better more beneficial player for our offense because while Shula sucks at many things, Getting the TE the ball is not one of them. Adding another threat from the line of scrimmage that can also block and protect Cam would have been more beneficial, at least in my opinion.

Having said all that, I like the talent that McCaffery has, and he has enough of it to warrant some optimism that maybe Shula isn't a complete dipshit and will figure out how to use him properly.
