If you are a player in the Professional Football league you should be able to do those sprints. I don't care if your 400 lbs. I think it shows more that Kemo didn't keep himself in as good of shape in the offseason then it being coaches fault. He only practice for what 15 mins? Come on now Kemo.

I don't think Kemo was in great shape to start camp, but his massive size will always put him at risk of injury when sprinting. If the Panthers decided to end the policy of having Kemo sprint, then we'd be better off imo.

Calling names is always a good way to lose an argument. Congrats.

Its not an argument, you stated your dumbass opinion about big players not running sprints, which they probably need them more than others, cause they tend to let themselves get out of shape.

I wish you could tell your theory about big players not running wind sprints to every college, and pro team's strength and conditioning coaches. They would laugh at you, like we are now.

Don't let it get to you. Kurb thinks he is all knowing and everyone else is an Idiot. Watch this I guarantee he calls me a idiot.

Name calling is boring. I'm more interested in the issue at hand. I think the Panthers need to make some changes in how they deal with giant players. Clearly.

Having played DT/DE in high school and then in college (I weighed 285 and it was only a JC) I know the conditioning for the hogs was/is a lot different than other players. We usually stuck to a lot of short sprints (from 10-20 yards), while the secondary positions ran longer sprints (more in the 40 yard range). It's more about explosion and short distance dashing than long sprinting like the secondary needs to condition for.

I don't know the exact scenario of how Kemo was hurt, but if he was doing long distance sprinting on his first day of practice, I put that on Meeks. I personally think it's due to carrying 350lbs all the time. Something is most likely going to give out eventually and it did. To say he shouldn't sprint at all is dumb, but he shouldn't be running the same conditioning sprints as DB's.

If he was jogging, then yea, he probably didn't run any off season or it was just a fluke incident.

    • Adding on to that - I know I read from some reporter that Dak Prescott's mentality is extremely fragile. Get in his head, and he loses focus and confidence. Per that reporter,  anytime a big game comes up, he starts to have the jitters and hasn't seem to overcome that slump. Dak would be an upgrade over Bryce as things currently stand. But Dak has not proven he can play in games that matters without choking. Bryce hasn't had the chance to show anything in the NFL, so nothing much to say there. But based on his history, he's done well in college in the national championship. Theoretically he should be more confident in big games if he gets to that point. For that alone, I'd rather keep rolling the dice on Bryce or set our sights higher. I wouldn't touch Dak with a 10 ft pole given his choking habits.
    • Same here brother, love Xavier I think he’s gonna become a quick fan favorite of the team. He already has gone viral for his country accent, we have no face of the franchise currently outside of maybe Derrick Brown in terms of media attention. I would not be surprised if in the next 4 years Xavier becomes that media darling we used to have in the 2010s with Luke, Cam, Josh Norman, CMC, etc.
    • I haven't been high on any of the WRs we drafted in the past.   This kid though is someone I actually wanted. I have a feeling we finally hit big with this kid. I'm expecting him to be a DJ Moore caliber WR.
