I think you've said it about as well as anyone could under the circumstances. We don't really know what happened and we certainly don't know what will happen. And Gettleman's most important work was wrapped up before training camp anyway, so we proceed as we are.

What is way down the road seems pretty blurry right now, but if we pay attention to what is right in front of us, we'll make it.

Gettleman set us up to have a great season.  Now that he is gone, Rivera is on the hot seat with no GM ,or president . the new GM may clean house and we will start over again.

Welp. The plus side to this is if Rivera and Shula don't do well next season, we're getting a new coaching staff in 2018.
