Actually at over a million dollars a game to play he sure does have an obligation to play whenever he can without risk of further injury. He owes the team, coaches and fans to play whenever humanly possible. I didn't pay thousands of dollars to see backups and JAGs. Sure if he can't play safely sure then sit him.. But it was determined playing more wouldn't cause more damage.

The only thing that matters at this point in Panthers history is winning the ring, period.  The payback from that would be tenfold what any other meaningless thing could be lost in it's pursuit.

Cam and this offense is going to come out dominant week 1- really, Cam should just be at home playing PS4 and come back into work week 1, it's not Cam who needs practice, training camp isn't for a guy like Cam here

Best case scenario is we play one of the worst teams in the league week 1.

Definitely, definitely do not want to push Cam back too early. He's not a rookie he'll be fine missing preseason

You can say that is all that matters but I watch all the games in person or on TV. They all matter to me and I want to win every one. So sure the SB is the ultimate goal but every game matters to me and millions of other Panther fans

Like I said they are keeping a lid on it. The media knows nothing about this. He has not even practiced in almost two weeks. They might fire him up again next week to see how his arm responds but if you see only one practice next week don't expect live contact till week two or longer.

They are keeping a lid on it because no one knows how big the issue will be or when he will be pain free. Obviously they are treating it and doing everything to heal it. You make it sound like a conspiracy. Truth is the press loves to speculate and make everything the worst case scenario so of course you only tell them what you know for sure instead of airing your fears and concerns

First time Hurney has an MVP QB who runs like an elite RB too - he doesn't need practice, he needs to do the minimum possible for this time of year. He threw in Baltimore before camp even started.
