Panthers trip

Hello everybody!

I am new to this forum (at least as a writer), but definitely not to the Panthers.

I have been a Panthers fan since the start-up of the franchise and both my sons are members of the kids and infant clubs respectively. Both having plenty of Panthers gear in their closets. However, coming from Sweden and currently living in Norway, I still haven’t seen a game from Bank of America Stadium, other than on TV (NFL gamepass). This is about to change though...

Next year is my 40th birthday, and I am planning to bring a number of football-crazed friends for a two-weekend week. Somewhere around end of September, beginning of October 2018. We hope to see either two games at home or potentially an away game against any of our division rivals. It will all depend on the schedule, whenever it is revealed. In addition, I hope that we can add a college game and a bunch of other activities.

…and now to the point. Never having been to Charlotte, I needed a little bit of help to make sure this becomes a trip of a lifetime. What would you recommend us to do, eat, see? How do I make this the best Panthers and Charlotte experience we can get? All of us going are 40-ish years old, but mentally probably more like 25. Liking everything from a good party to rollercoasters and so on.

I appreciate all the help and insights I can get.

Thanks a lot in advance

Take it all in. People throw away programs and commerative cups, but you need to keep it. You ain't gonna be back next week. I have a big stack of cups from a game (Arizona, Kurt Warner was on the big screen cussing out his line), it was great. I have a towel from a game where Drew Brees handed off to MikeTolbert that sealed the game, and we lost, but I was there. Take nothing for granted.

Meet up with me because I will also be in town around that same time for my first home Panther game.

Honestly it's going to be a shock to me to not be in enemy territory as I have been going to Panthers games all over the US in visiting stadiums for years.

Pissing in a urinal or getting cash from a concourse ATM without having to glance over my shoulder will be a delightful treat.

@ehawk56  the big 3 roller coasters you can't miss out on are Fury, Nighthawk, and Afterburn. Fury and Afterburn have relatively shorter lines than Nighthawk. If you go to Carowinds, go on those coasters.

Pro tip = Arrive when Carrowinds opens and head quickly to the Fury. You will be on and off in 5 minutes.
