They can have Funchess

Why? Compare his first two years in the league with Funchess first two years in the league. Funchess blows him away. The only reason to make this trade is if there are no signs that Funchess can develop any further, and I don't believe that's the case.

I was joking really. I'm willing to give him another year to prove himself unlike others.

I don't get the hype. Besides beating up on us every time we play the Seahawks he hasn't done much.

He's pretty good now but I don't know where would we put him in the line up or  what would we trade for him. Everybody loves to bash Funchess, but as I already pointed out, Funchess is way ahead of where Kearse was at the same point in his career so I believe it would be a big mistake to give up on a young up and coming player for Kearse.

LOL at Funchess being a reason for not making a trade

Wow, I've now seen it all

Funchess had more than twice the production as Kearse at the same point in their respective careers. Look it up. I'm not exactly saying that Funchess is a reason not to go after Kearse, but I think it would be foolish to trade player for player before we even give Funchess time to develop like Kearse did. Also, the idea of trading a draft pick to Seattle for ANYBODY makes my stomach turn.

    • He had a turnover on all three goals he was on the ice for. Plus he had that god awful delay of game penalty. Like legit his GS actually shows he was the cause of the loss and he was only on the ice for 12 minutes. You remove him from that game and the Canes win or at worst go to OT.  Let's put this in perspective, in 12 minutes he directly led to 3 goals against. In the 48 minutes without him on the ice it was an even-steven 2-2 game and that's disregarding that god awful delay of game penalty that led to goal number 4 of the 5 given up.      I don't see how anyone could say that he didn't directly lead to the loss.
    • reality is the piling on of Frank Reich is just the standard huddle angle we take of putting all blame on someone after the fact.   as I was an OG Frank hater before it was cool to be......now the swing goes too far the other way and people will claim me is as a Frank defender.  Frank Reich was the definition of a .500 middle of the road NFL coach.  He technically was a winning coach and above .500 coming here but he is and was NFL average.  we were the biggest joke in a decade.....because they paired Frank Reich (a dude who was going to do what he does in the NFL) with a dude who couldn't do NFL basics and Frank was forced to play him.  That's not Frank being a loser.  That a bad org around Frank.
    • Toronto is less physical than us, and they took them to 7  I really wish they would have won, because we match up better with them, but we have to deal with what we got  What worries me is Svech trying to take out Bob, that is desperation, that's what you do when you feel like there is no legit options left, it's what I feared, Bob is still in our core groups head, and they are over thinking, over passing Hopefully that changes tonight
