Sadly I think his playing days are over.

Man, I hate that this may be true. Mostly because Larsen has looked good. So the future is set, and Ryan may not be here next year. He has a rather yuge cap hit next year, so setting him free may just be in the cards.

On the other hand. A healthy Ryan, is better than a healthy Larsen. I mean, Ryan is one of the top Centers in the game. It would hurt to lose him.

Either way. I am hopeful that Ryan imparts as much knowledge on Larsen as he can, for as long as he is here. Because I have to believe that is just the kind of guy he is.

Having said that. I think I just threw up in my mouth a little agreeing with you. lol

First, Ryan has been out 2 weeks already. So if we IR him, you can make it retroactive to back to when he first started missing time. So he would only be out 4 more weeks.

Second, c'mon man. 3-7? Ah hellz, nevermind.

Pretty much all the teams on the rest of our schedule dont look like pushovers . Maybe you could say the Jets , but after many people viewing the saints D as pushovers and us getting manhandled by them, not so sure you can say that anymore.

We could very realistically lose the next 3 games in a row and be 2- 4  . They are all good teams this year (Patriots, Lions, Eagles). We are also getting the Eagles on a short week Thursday night game after what I assume will be two rough away games against great offenses .

Don't take this the wrong way, but...yada, yada, yada. We are 2-1. We have a very talented team. I am not going to give up, just because we laid a stinker out there this weekend. Every team does so, and they will continue to do so.

I mean, hellz bellz. Every team we play, has laid an egg so far this year. (atl just got lucky and won theirs.)  But, for some reason, I am supposed to feel badly because my team has? Nah, not happening.

Listen, I understand the frustration. Kinda.

OK, let's go in this direction. For all of OTAs, and TC, we had a very enthusiastic Cam. And most folks were excited. During the first 2 games, even though things didn't work to perfection. We still had a very enthusiastic Cam. And most fans were excited.

Then last week happened. And now, most fans are unhappy. So the moral of the story is. This team goes as far as Cam will take us. Some of us still believe, some have lost that loving feeling.

Us believers will continue to believe. The doubters, will continue to doubt. No amount of discourse will change that. Wins will help. But every loss sends the doubters spiraling down that abyss. Never to be heard from again. Sinking deeper into that black hole, until all that is left is their memory.

tl/dr version: Every team has problems. It is how you respond that measures you. Can't we just wait until the Panthers respond. Before we write them off?

HEY, don't call me Nancy!!! You try living with...my wife's family for 25 years. You try being the voice of reason for a family of illeducated hillbillies. You try mowing your lawn in your underwear, and not have some panty waste call teh mother in law in outrage. Yeah, you read that right. My mother in law runs the neighborhood. And evidently, there is a difference between underwear, and shorts.

Gun shots, never mind, it's just them. Pool explodes, calm down, it was an accident. (True story, the pool rooms coal burning furnace caught on fire. I was just pulling up to get the wife. I grabbed a hose and started spraying. Everyone else was watching out the windows.)  And on those rare occasions the cops do show up? There are a half dozen. City, and County. They just gots to know what was it this time? It's like a dang circus up in here.

As a lifelong Lions fan. I get the pleasure of the Lions/Panther game being the first weekend of the month. Yupperz. 127 not knowing a dang thing about football, Jim Beam/Bud Light drinking, chaw chewing, spit that poo on my shoe? I wear my work boots up their, even at Christmas, hillbillies who just love sticking it to "That Yankee", even after 25 years. I'm still "That Yankee".

Why am I still here you ask? It's her land, and I love the wife. Plus, I just peed out my front door, and there is not a soul in the world who can see me. HA.

So yeah, ask me again...what was I saying?

How in the fug did Ryan kalil get hurt anyways? Did somebody karate chop him in the neck during his sleep? I was under the assumption he'd be ready for week 1. He just "woke up and his neck was sore "? Wtf!!! This coaching staff is so shady when it comes to injuries.

He played week one.

I'm beginning to lean towards our staff screwing up (again) and mismanaging his health. Maybe he wasn't actually ready Week 1?

He hadn't participated at all during preseason.

As for Kalil Id heard compressed disk.  Which imo would not necessarily mean IR.

Sounds like you've never had any back injuries... count yourself lucky.  They are absolutely IR in my experience.  Debilitating and damn near crippling are words that come to mind when I suffered mine!

I've broken my neck before so I've had my own issues, but while a compressed disk, if that is even what Kalil Kali is dealing with, can be painful and quite possibly season ending if he doesn't improve, rest and treatment can ease the pain enough where he could get back after a few weeks.  Obviously it depends on the severity.  Only Kalil knows how much pain he's dealing with.
