Am I The Only One Way Too Excited To See Byrd's Debut?

I know there is huge letdown potential there, but I'm excited to see how he looks today.  And at worst, I expect him to be better than D. Cox was last week.

I mean it makes sense in that Jones has been here and is familiar with his teammates, tendencies, etc.  But, from what I understand, our defense isn't difficult to come right in and play in.  It's very basic.  So, i'm assuming this is more likely either due to Byrd being out of game shape, or Ron playing his guys first...

jones gave up a TD last week and he's given up big plays before from the position. can't understand why he continues to get opportunities.

Only time i recall him being an efficient defensive player was 2015, in spots.  But, a safety's number one job is to not let anyone behind him, and ever since '15, everytime I notice him on defense is when he is chasing down a reciever who is wide open behind him waiting on a lob lol.
