Ball Game Cam, you fuged up

Still time for us to get the ball with nearly 2:00 minutes if we stop them. And could get it with decent field position. Not over. But yeah Cam has been way off, even when he's had time. We badly need Kalil and Olsen back.

This has nothing to do with Kalil or Olsen, his deep balls are horrible. They always have been. The last 3 he launched down field had no pressure so you can't blame the pressure

How is that on Cam? 3 straight deep shots instead of using the short throws that got us down the field to begin with. This is all on this coaching staff. 100%. Being mad at Cam because he threw some errant passes after nearly rushing for 100 yards while having to be the QB as well as getting the ball out because our OL is getting worked all game is like being mad at a dog for barking at the mail man.

Kinda gotta recognize there's no one within 8 yards of where you threw the ball. For the Panthers.

Cam hasn't been great tonight, but his deep ball has consistently been the best in the league throughout his career. Ryan and Greg are crucial for our run game and offense in general.

    • In May of 2026, it looks like a challenging schedule...and it probably is.  I rarely listen to the "strength of schedule" conversations that light up social media this time of year. Each year teams improve and decline. I think there's chunks of the year we need to take care of business and the week 5 bye is not desired.  I do think if we don't hit the bye week at 3-1, it's going to be a major uphill battle given the schedule in front of us. This season falls on three people, regardless of schedule strength: Canales, Bryce, Evero.  Canales: Finally can truly coach all aspects of the team and not focus with gameday prep for OC duties anymore. He drives the bus and needs to get these guys in position to win each week. There's no way vets come in and put it on the line every week to watch our QB sh!t the bed (See: SF game last year). Bryce: Despite everyone's obsession with thinking Bryce is a guaranteed extension, I think this year will truly be his "prove it" year. If he comes out the way he has the past three years, I really don't see how vets and coaches can continue to put him under center long-term. He might play out that fifth year as the starter, but I think next offseason his long-term replacement is found. I also think there's no excuses with the weapons and commitment we've made on offense to insulate him with every possible weapon.  Evero: Best personnel he's had since he's been here...no excuses. Figure out how to blitz effectively. Figure out how to use CBs whose strengths are press/man. Figure out how to utilize a talented front-7 to get the hell of the field. Outside of FS and maybe....maybe ILB, there are few weaknesses on this unit.
    • Canales can never get his teams ready in the first week of the season so far. Hope that changes or Ben Johnson is going to take his azz to school.
