Real Pressure

Nemesis

Recommended Posts

There is more pressure on the Panthers to win this sunday that any other game so far. Really, a close win is not going to get it. The Panthers have a ton of talent this season. If they don't have enough pride to come out and just rip the Skins a new one. It's going to be a very long season.

And thats all I got to say about that.

GO PANTHERS...

You are right. This is the highest pressure game all year. Until next week when we are 0-4. Then that will be the highest pressure game. Until the week after that.

It's hard to blow out any Nfl team since they put in the salary cap.It happens, but usually if you have a lot of turnovers.I'll be happy with a win

No..you don't understand..If we loose this Sunday the pressure is off..If the Panthers can't beat the Redskins at home then It's just going to be a long season..

The pressure will be off the team. Fans like you will make it a very long season. But I guess if they do lose that will be one less around here.

Talent does not mean anything on team. Unless that team gels together and works as a unit.. But I am hoping for the best for the panthers no matter how they play. i want fox and delhomme and meeks and defense to prove that they can finally get things going and move on with the season and win.

More accurately, it's people like our coaches, QBs that never play well in critical games, undersized and overrated receivers, halfhearted efforts from our superstar defensive players and perenially poor draft picks that make it a long season for Panther fans.

A close win won't cut it? You do realize were 0-3 right? Any win will cut it. If we win the game 2-0 with a snap that flies over the punters head through the endzone I am celebrating like we made the playoffs.

Yeah, a 1 point win is just as good as a 40 point win. This ain't college where style points count.

To take the pressure off the Panthers and be more productive they need to run the ball and that starts Sunday against the Redskins..

The formula is pretty simple, now they have to go out and execute it.

The true character of a man,or team, is not when things are going well, it's when they're going bad,so Sunday will be a day to guage the character of the team and players as a whole.

Opposing teams are daring the Panthers to throw the ball to Moose. The Panthers will keep trying to get the ball to Moose in single coverage. If it works, we have a chance, it doesn't and we lose. Running against 8 men in the box won't amount to much. The safety has to be forced out of the box and back into pass coverage by completing multiple passes to Moose. Jake hits Moose enough times, the safety backs up, and we can run against a 7 man front.

    • Not sure there is anything that will do that outside of Young actually being a legit top 12 QB. Where he won’t need excuses made for him.  It is just as likely to multiply them.
    • When has it not?     Also, when these starters play physical defense and turn that into transition offense, this team is downright scary.     that felt weird to type.
