You said greatest Panther of all time. That is exactly what I am responding to you. Reading comprehension is your friend.

thank you.

I'm not really sure why you feel the need to come off that way off of a simple question.  Genuinely just wanted to know, as people separate the two.

But hey it says Wise Ass under your Username so I accept you as you come my friend.

Lol.

Love me some Steve Smith.

Always have.

You'd be able to see that looking at my jersey collection.

He is, the greatest receiver in franchise history.

No where close to being the greatest all time Panther. There are more qualifications for that, that Steve Smith doesn't meet.

Now I'm not sure how valid this source is; besides that he's a player and Steve liked the tweet.

I hope he's correct though for sure. The greatest Panther to have ever stepped on that field in my opinion; definitely top 3.

Steve Smith’s number should never be worn again. And he should have a statue outside BOA in the future.

I am all in the boat of Smith being a top 3 and if anything definitely top 5 Panther of all time.  He has been the most dynamic offensive weapon the franchise ever had, and over a long period of time, and stat wise / what he has done, one of the better in the NFL as a whole.

Even when some compare him to the level of Peppers.  I put Smith above Pep mainly because how many moments and games, especially big time meaningful can you recall Pep dominating and taking over, making a big play vs Smith doing that ??  For me its always Smitty... for Pep I always look back and cant pick a big game where he just beasted out, he was commonly a dud in big games.  I am sure some will post examples where I am wrong , but again.... Smitty was a monster plenty of times and when I look back on both of their careers there are way more times in my mind that Smitty stood out way more than Pep.

I don’t hold Steve’s bad antics against his legacy because there were plenty of times when he was the only person in the whole franchise who seemed to give a damn. He was the heart of the team for years and a couple of hotheaded moments don’t erase that.

    • The new (released today) FOX ONE app will allow you access to watch your Local FOX Station - similar to how the Paramount Plus app allows you access to watch your local CBS station It'll cost you $20/month for the privilege, but if you're having trouble accessing the over-the-air antenna for FOX, this could be an option to consider the new ESPN app will give you access to ESPN content, but not to the local ABC affiliate. A reminder: if you currently get ESPN via some TV provider (cable, satellite, youtube, etc) then you should be able to use the new ESPN app via your provider login, no additional payment required
    • Not even close!!! BURNS was a one trick pony who had a big game or two a year in the sack collum and was invinsible the rest of the time....   Heck hes gonna be the Giants fourth best rusher this year.
    • XL went to one of the worst teams in the NFL.  One that features a weak passing O and bad overall QB play on the season.   XL is getting way too much hate IMO.   He had an okay rookie season all things considered.   Very much on par w/ prospects that projected around the same area with him.   Panthers made a 2nd rounder a first round technicality for that contract.  XL also getting this weird kicker type blame for games.  XL somehow single handedly lost us games on one play.....and then we ignore the rest of the team that went about losing the game for 4 quarters.   Should he of caught the Philly ball? 100%.  The O and D still played like garbage that entire game.  Even after the drop, Panthers had two shots starting w/ a 3rd and 4 to convert.  They kept playing bad instead.  And even if we XL made the play....Philly would have had a minute and half to get into FG range to win it.  Who is banking on the Panther D getting that stop?  also, I am deemed Mr. Negative, yet here I am defending a no good dirty Gamecock lol
