Ed Dickson TD pass... somebody tell me its my imagination

I think the pass was tipped.

In-game I didn't notice anything because Cam threw a rocket and we all know that sometimes, when Cam loads up, the ball sails.  Ed made a great catch anyway.

But I was watching this replay a few times on NFL.com and for the first time I thought I detected a *slight* change in trajectory right when the DT being blocked in front of the play gets his hands up.  I don't think it was much of a touch, it might have just been a miniscule little brush of the DTs finger, but I'm now firmly of the belief that the DT did touch it and the sailing throw (at least in this particular case) and the resulting slight little wobble of the ball was because of the touch by the DT.  If you can stop the video at 0:24 like I did you can see the ball and the DTs hand right in the exact same area.  Does that mean it was touched?  Again, not sure, but my imagination is saying the answer to that question is yes.

And, if I'm right, that makes it an even better catch by Dickson (in game I actually wondered why Dickson showed a little difficulty with the catch) in actually adjusting to the slightly changed trajectory.

Yeah I noticed it when i watch on TV that it looked like it was tipped.

got damn i never can get over that play. it was the definition of threading a needle. the fact that it was against the Falcons in a mutherfugin shut out against them makes it all the more schweet
