The fight for the NFC South is still well under way, but Brett Kollmann gives a good analysis of why the saints offense is thriving and what Luke Kuechly and Steve Wilkes must be thinking about when we will have to shut it down in week 13.

In some ways our offenses are similar in that we have  good interior linemen at the guards, a tailback in Stewart, an elusive halfback with CMC, some speed at WR, a young talented WR1 with height, and a MVP caliber QB.

Defensively I think we outmatch them, but they have talented corners and seem to be better up front.

To me the Saints and the Vikings will be our last real TEST for this team and will give us a good indication of how we will play in the playoffs. If we continue to build momentum we will have a lot to be excited about in December.

      To me, this seems like they feel they aren't going to be competitive. I can't help but go back to Bryce. Good guy, but he doesn't inspire people to give it their all. He isn't a "leader" that people look to. There is no Smith, Delhomme, Kuechly, Cam, etc. coming in that door.  It has to be Bryce, but biologically speaking, how often is the shortest man in the room going to command the kind of respect that will drive people? It just isn't. That isn't how we are wired. That isn't how any living animal on Earth today is wired.  I just follow the science guys.

      Vick's issue with Reid was that he couldn't take a hit, and he wouldn't go down. Otherwise he was pretty good much of the time.  Mahomes has a system that works. Mahomes doesn't become Mahomes elsewhere because not everyone can extract 125% of the ability of a specific player like Reid can. Kevin O'Connell is beginning to look like he has that ability as well but I'll need to see how he does with his Redshirt Freshman.  I also wonder how much of their playoff issue last year was related to the offense as a whole and not just Darnold. Fans don't really dive into the "why" things happen, they just see the what and complain about it.
