Panthers TE Greg Olsen and C Ryan Kalil practiced today in full pads today. Both are optimistic about playing on Sunday. Kalil said he feels the best he has felt all year. Thanked Panthers for sticking with him.

well, that just isn’t true.

better yes? Better this upcoming week? Very debatable.

But the problem we are facing obviously isn’t much of a problem.  Fine with it either way really.  Lack of speed at WR is still the O issue despite Cam’s great Phin game

Speed doesn't mean much if they arent catching the football (whether that be from drops, QB accuracy, or lack of targets). I swear to god Samuel was turning it on last game and making tough catches in traffic until he got injured. Now we're likely starting Shepard who has either been a ghost or dropping passes for most of the season.

Byrd wont be back for this coming game. So there is alot being put on Clay's shoulders. Olsen might help him quite a bit in terms of getting open at least . The problem is there isn't a single WR on the roster I trust to make difficult catches when it matters besides Funchess, and that's a problem.

Yeah I trust CMC and Greg but I'm strictly talking about WRs. Maybe McCaffrey is going to get alot more targets , but I highly doubt it. The only time his workload has gone up significantly where either from injury (Saints game) or from serious performance issues from other players (Falcons game). He get 4 - 7 short field targets and 3 - 7 runs a game routinely.

I can't see Clay playing more than 20 snaps on offense. We aren't going to NY to air the ball out. The offense hasn't changed. Clay will still be the #4 on the depth chart. Russell and Bersin just moved up.

May God be with us then when we aren't passing to Tight Ends, McCaffrey, or Funchess.
