as tight as it is this year it could be for playoffs, period.

There would have to be a major collapse by the panthers for that to happen. We have GB and TB which should be marked down as wins. And if we win this saints game that’s 11-5. At the very least NFC south is sending 3 teams to the playoffs. I don’t see a scenrios where panthers get left out. Saints panthers and falcons all still play eachother so teams are getting losses some where

absolutely nothing can be "marked down as wins" for this team dude. Luke and Clay bailed us out when our offense couldnt do diddly squat and the secondary was getting torched. There are no gimmies.

You are assuming Arod isn't back for the GB game. He is scheduled to be back then, the hope for us would be they don't activate him because GB is too far back to make the postseason.

A GB team without Rodgers when we are playing at home should definitely be marked down as a win. TB is also on a back up qb. If this team is a seriously playoff contender those should definitely be wins.

Any thing can happen and that obviously doesn’t need to be stated.

And you are assume arod will be back, will play like his normal self coming back from injury, and the panthers lose a home game in the month of December.

NE SEA and Carolina have been the best teams in November and December going back the last 5 years.

The GB team is been plagued by injuries all season

    • I don't think he did it to spite Bryce. Seems like Bryce is a truly decent guy that virtually everyone likes. I do think Frank likely preferred Stroud and was either was led to believe or deluded himself into thinking that he would have a lot more say in the direction we went at QB in the draft. Once we decided on Bryce it really seemed like the wind went out of Frank's sails and he basically started mailing it in just waited to get fired and paid out. Maybe I'm mid dreading the whole situation but that's certainly the way it looked to me from the outside looking in.
    • Again, it may have nothing to do with Bryce Young. The coaches are thinking about the whole roster. Many guys have said how much different this off-season has been not having to start from square 1 with a playbook, language, etc. You’re talking about bringing in a guy to lead the 2nd team offense who they now have to spend time teaching. Every team is different. This team is young and developing across the board and trying to find some positive continuity. With how Morgan and Canales have approached everything I’m fairly certain they considered all possibilities and decided it was best for the overall team to roll with Dalton for now. They value whatever it is they feel Dalton brings over the extremely low probability of whatever washed out, journey man, reclamation project developing into a franchise QB. You and I have no idea why and aren’t there in the meetings, but it’s clear that the FO sees this young failed franchise QB project as less likely to pan out than you do.
    • Frank justed wanted to throw Young to the wolves because he wanted to draft Stroud. It was a big FU to Tepper and that is why he only lasted a few games before getting canned.
