Root for the Vikings you got to get the wild  card first before you worry about anything else

Screw the wildcard if we somehow collapse the last few weeks.  I'm rooting for the top 2 seed and that involves the Vikings losing today.  You also have to figure Falcons-Saints play each other twice.  Someone is getting some losses.

Every Panthers fan should be a Vikings fan for the 1:00 games.

Not at all, Falcons win does not really hurt our chances unless you think we're going to lose to the Saints and Vikings.  Thus, if you're a true fan, you believe in your team and what they are capable of.  I'm not scared of the Falcons, I want that bye week so our players can be healthy.  Give me a Vikings loss!

It has nothing to do with the Falcons being a "threat." A true fan that is confident in the team would believe we will win out which makes the Vikings winning their other games completely irrelevant. You root for the Falcons to lose because you hate their asses and their loser fans and want them to suffer, not because they could be a "threat."

The first goal is winning your division. Win your division first guarantees a home playoff game.

We're in a tight race in the NFCS. We need Saints/Falcons to lose. Now if we were well ahead in the division and Falcons winning can determine a higher seed in the NFC for us, then yeah. But right now we're not at that point.

Yep. I think if Falcons win out they would win the division in a tiebreaker over us due to division record. They won't win out but we need them losing today for sure.

lets be real  Falcons will either split or go 0-2 to saints.  We  aren't losing division tiebreakers if we win today.

    • That makes me wonder, how many starting tackles in the NFL and/or elite tackles have short arms? I feel like there’s probably lots of tackles that end up being drafted in later rounds because they had short arms or didn’t have the physical tools.
    • Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game
    • I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
