But that's the gist of OP's title. It doesn't matter whether we fire Rivera, JR will pick a close replica. And it doesn't matter whether Shula is fired, because Rivera is the one who wants this type of offense. He will hire somebody similar to Shula. It's a never ending cycle that can only be solved by a new owner.

Let's be real here, this team will get thumped in the playoffs (that's even if we make it.....lot of teams only 1-2 games out from us and we still have some tough games ahead). Too many electric offenses that will toy with our "vaunted" defense, and too many great defenses that will toy with our putrid offense.

      Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game

      I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
