What QB do you like...

I like Zac Robinson. I like that he has a dual threat but is definitely pass first. He has a nice arm and gets it out quick. Being realistic, considering we don't have a 1st, I'd like to take him.

I'm a UF fan and I can tell you The Golden Calf of Bristol will not be a good QB and is someone I hope we don't draft. Love his heart and all he has done for Florida but I don't think he'll fare well.

I don't usually watch college games too much but I got to see McCoy's last game. He's intense. Never say die attitude. Good decisions. Determined to advance the ball every play passing or taking off himself with good results. Very good game manager. Good arm and great accuracy. He has the right mindset for the NFL.

I really doubt we'll get him though.

don't think The Golden Calf of Bristol will be able to throw the ball in NFL?

If he turns out to be an accurate passer and can throw the deep ball I don't see why he wouldn't do well, but from what little I've seen of that game in College I would agree that he won't do well as a qb

All of you wanting Colt McCoy...just think back to this past game..were jake threw 44 passes and all of them very short...thats McCoy and the WCO...lol

I've seen him throw deep plenty. We don't need someone with a brett Farve arm just an accurate and smart QB that makes few mistakes.

Ponder is starting to move up the list in my mind. He plays out of a pro-style offense under center, has a cannon arm, is athletic, and most importantly seems really intelligent.

My favorite QBs are Locker and McCoy but Locker is probably going in the top 10 picks and McCoy has never played under center. Even tho I think the "under center" argument is a little overstated considering these guys all seem to be pretty smart, it still makes me a little nervous.

I just realized I am in love with Tony Pike.

My choices based on who I've seen play.

1. Pike

2. McCoy=Clausen=Locker

3. Bradford=LeFevour

4. Ponder

5. The Golden Calf of Bristol

6. Skinner

All I know is that I want freaking Jordan SHipley. I am not even a UT fan but that guy is money.

    • lol well that kinda ended up working out in the end, even though I still don't have my jersey yet. Was supposed to ship by tomorrow this time, but just got another email saying it was delayed another 3 weeks and because it's been delayed so long, I had to tell them to keep the order or cancel it, but gave me a 25% off my next order as an apology. Well, my original fear came true and they are now selling the FUSE version (but still not the Blue unfortunately) before the one I ordered was ever shipped. But that's awesome, because I was able to use that coupon to order the FUSE instead and then cancelled the original order.  So I got the jersey I wanted for only $6.30 more than the crappier version costs, and it also says it will be shipped immediately and get here early next week, or 2 weeks before the other was now supposed to be shipped out.
    • I've watched this and think we are well underway.  Believe it or not, Bryce is a big part of this.  The way he bounced back with such grace.  And we've got a lot of young players who want to make their mark, Dave is giving them an opportunity.  I loved our draft.  I like the number of guys we brought in, and they will help build the culture we want under Dave.  We're getting closer, and I think we'll see more wins this year than most of the board. The right culture breeds winning, and winning builds the right culture.  Imho, it's coming.
    • As others have said it's both. One creates the other. But it also takes time sometimes years. And there have been teams lately with new car smell coaching staffs that looked like they were putting it together quickly but things came crashing back down to Earth. Sustainability is the key. For that to happen the meddling of our owners has to stop and they cannot be tempted to return to their ways over any bump in the road either.
