Rivera’s thoughts on the Falcons/Saints game from last night: “That was crazy!”

 

Fozzy Whittaker and Cameron Artis-Payne will both get jerseys Sunday

 

Rivera said staff decided last night to practice in the elements today instead of going to convention center because they aren’t sure what weather will be like Sunday.

 

RR on likely returns of Greg Olsen and Ryan Kalil: It couldn't have come at a better time.

 

Ryan Kalil is questionable but Rivera says he feels “really good” about him.

 

Rivera, with a wink, says he feels really good about Ryan Kalil playing Sunday.

Panthers injury report: Tyler Larsen, Kaelin Clay, Devin Funchess, Ryan Kalil, Greg Olsen questionable. Shaq Thompson is out.

Lots of Questionables this week for the Panthers: Funchess, Larsen, Clay, Kalil, Olsen all QUESTIONABLE this week.

 

Media portion of practice over. S.Thompson only guy not on the practice field. T.Larsen working on the side. Imagine they’re the only two in danger of being ruled out later. Doesn’t look like D.Funchess is practicing, but he’ll play.

No reports on Stewart. Has he been practicing? What is his injury? There has to be something there if CAP and Fozzy are both suiting up. 

Maybe CMC actually gets the start. I'm guessing they'll just play CAP and CMC and just stay with the hot hand , and Fozzy will be the emergency back.

This is what fans have been calling for literally all season. Lets see if it works against a really good defense..

Key to this game is going to be short passes imo . Vikings are going to blitz and rush the hell outta Cam and try to frustrate him just like last year , we need to effectively call screens ,short passes, draw plays, and Cam needs to scramble more, to defeat those blitz.

If I were the coach and Funchess was out Sunday. I'd be starting McCaffrey opposite Funchess , put Byrd in the slot. Have Bersin sub in for Funchess or McCaffrey if they get tired or we need another WR, and have Shepard sub in for Byrd if he gets tired.

Well stew is off this year. But even fournette only averages 3.2 ypc if u exclude his two big plays
