Hornets vs Bulls

Everyone should be traded, including Kemba, for as much as they can bring.  There is no reason to continue with really anyone on this roster.

Sadly I agree.  Kemba is an UFA after next season.  Cannot afford to lose him in FA.  His value is highest before the deadline.  If you cannot extend him them you need to see what you can get for him.

Then trade everybody that anybody will take and get as many picks and expiring contracts as possible.  Keep Monk and play him more.  It is the only way he can learn and get better.

This group is not going anywhere, it is time to start over.

Never been so bored watching a Hornets game. This team is severely flawed. I swear that our GM doesn't actually talk to our coach. The players he gets our coach, doesn't fit the system at all and our coach is too set in his ways to adjust his system to our players.

Our coach preaches defense but we have no real long athletes. Let's take a look at our players:

1. PGs: Kemba is undersized PG who is great taking charges with help defense, but allows the guy he is guarding into the lane at ease. Especially obvious in pick and rolls with Dwight Howard. Monk is a SG who Cliff sees as a PG because of size is also small. MCW has the length Cliff loves but can't even hit a freaking layup.

2. SG: Nic and Lamb. Nic has slowed down so much that he is now becoming a liability on defense. If he got called for all the holding he does on defense he would be screwed. Lamb is long but slow footed.

3. SF: MKG, Bacon, Graham: MKG is a one way player. Bacon has potential but since he is a rookie won't get PT. Graham is an overachiever. None of these guys have great length, but this is the one position where all the players can defend.

4. PF: WIlliams, Frank, Job: Williams is a SF playing PF. He does admirably but he is asked to guard the new age PF. The 7 foot outside shooter and he helps too much and gives up the 3 too often. Frank is slow and is a Center playing PF before he's too weak to handle Centers.

5. C: Howard, Zeller: Howard is our Al Jefferson. Our offense consists of throwing it to him in the post and hope he doesn't try to shoot a stupid jumper. On defense, he is no longer an attribute against some teams because of the 3 point shooting Centers. Zeller is fast but not long and can't jump unless he has a running start. Never seen a C get blocked down low so often and by smaller players .

Disappointed in this team.

    • Rotating in Chuba was beyond stupid and really hurt our offense overall. We’ve been in a good rhythm the last 6 quarters or so but Canales figured disrupting that with Chuba would be worth it Rico fits this offense so much better than Chuba    As far as grades go I know that ain’t our RB1, starting Center and our supposedly deep WR room and exciting talented young TE in dead last. Weird. I wonder if that has any correlation on QB play  Even that first incomplete ball Bryce threw in the end zone that hit Legette’s hands. Legette had no business being there so early. Legette went into scramble drill when that ball was intended for Coker who led up because of the traffic there
    • Yeah Jets have pretty much been in every game they've played and have barely lost to really good teams. They are much better than their record says Imo
    • I kinda just wanna see what the offense can do with a QB who has proven he can move the football in the NFL. If Dalton wasn't a shadow of his former self I'd be fine with him but Father Time has definitely caught up with him. If we start piling up the losses as the schedule gets tougher and the passing offense continues to be anemic that might cast Canales his job and it's worth a very low risk move IMO to at least give him a fighting chance. The thought of yet another Tepper rebuild just isn't at all exciting to me having already seen a few of them. I'm about giving this current guy a fighting chance.
